AdventHealth Medical Group Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery at Winter Garden

"Funny how my rating of 1 isn't showing up in Google. I asked for a cost estimate and they wouldn't provide one. I should of asked my insurance. The visit was quick, we spent about 10 to 15 min total with the doctor and nurse. One simple x-ray that showed no problems, so it shouldn't take but a minute for the doctor to review. The billing code they used was 30 to 45 min. The bill with a simple hand x-ray, over $600. I disputed the charge and argued the doctor and the office never spent that much time on our case. The care was fine and I don't have a problem with that. The problem is I really feel we were over charged on the time. I recommend, get an estimate and discuss the billing code before leaving the office. I emailed the email in their response. We'll see? Advent contacted me but and I spoke with the office. Nothing yet."

This was the first broken bone for my son and they worked to get us in quickly, answered all our questions and really took time to make sure we understood the treatment plan. Also really great on getting us the paperwork the school needed. So happy with our care here and highly recommend!"
