505 Training Squadron

The 505 Training Squadron, located at 100 O'Neill Ave, Hurlburt Field, Florida, United States, is a school that reports to the 505th Test and Training Group. The institution serves as the Air Operations Center (AOC) Formal Training Unit (FTU) for the Department of Defense, offering various courses such as the Joint Air Operations Command and Control Course (JAOC2C) and the Academic Instructor Course (AIC). The squadron's mission is to train joint and coalition warfighters on command and control processes and systems for air, space, and cyber operations. With approximately 18 enlisted Airmen, 18 officers, 95 civilians, and four contractors assigned, the 505 TRS has a long history dating back to 1977. The institution also has a geographically separated operating location at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
