"This school had the absolute WORST ways of dealing with bullying I have ever seen. They tried but it didn’t work at all. They never took in the students who were bullying to talk to them, they just said “I’ll keep an eye out” just to see the next time it would happen. What’s that going to do? What if the next time that student committed suicide and it’s already too late. You can’t just wait around you need to take action right on the spot. The teachers are fine and really nice but a lot of the teachers threw away and discouraged art work. The gym teachers are also down right horrible and abusive back when I went in 6th grade. The lady there told us she forced a kid with asthma to do more exercise and was very rude to the students and forced them past there limits. My time there in 6th grade was absolutely horrible and I was on the verge of suicide because of the excessive bullying and the school didn’t do anything about it. I would have gave this school no or one star if it wasn’t for some of my teachers actually being genuinely nice people. Note: I’m in 8th grade now. Almost to high school."
"Most of the teachers were great. Mr. Keck is an amazing teacher. I still go visit him after I get out from Choctaw. Unfortunately, they have moved a lot of staff around, and recently Mr. Lecompte died of a stroke (Rest in peace...). But, my education there was fantastic. As long as you follow the rules and get good grades, and not get on the teacher's bad side, a lot of them are really great."
"The teachers are okay. Some favor the more popular kids though. A lot of the kids are nice, even the populars. There are also a lot of people that are very hateful and negative. I don't really bond with anyone at this school, but it's not that bad of a school."
"This is a racist school. The most disrespectful ignorant school I've ever been to. The teachers have no respect for students parents. Especially Hispanic family's. Instead of worrying about how to get kids to focus in school they sit an talk bad about kids. Don't recommend to send your kid to this school."
"I am a child at Pryor Middle school, and by far, it is the best school within Okaloosa county. The teachers that teach within the school walls are very caring and take notice to every struggling student. The counselor as well is very nice. The children that go to this school are very bright and many have 4.0 averages throughout the year. Also, little to no students fail and there is no gang activity what so ever. There as well is no gossiping teachers in pryor. The people that teach the children would not do something so degrading as "gossiping". If anything, the only talking about students is when the teachers brag about how smart they are. The boys and girls that attend this public school are far from being violent individuals. Also, the only "Jocks" that go to this school, are the coaches. The professionals at this school do NOT play favoritism. This is the best public school that northwest Florida has to offer and it is home to the Pryor Pirates."
