"Love , love , love the Cancer center at Advent Health DeLand. Dr Carlos Lopez is my radiation oncologist. He is attentive, compassionate and informative. I felt that I had excellent care from the whole team and all of my concerns and fears were addressed. I was treated like family throughout my treatment. Would highly recommend!!!"

"I had my first MRI and I was very apprehensive. The MRI Tech very was understanding and explained everything to me. I am an AdventHealth Manager ( not at DeLand) and I can say he showed several of our values. Love Me. Make it Easy. I would not feel apprehensive if I had to do this again. "I had an amazing experience with hospital staff starting with the front desk all the way to the back!! The Triage Nurse immediately knew the urgency of my situation and too action! I'm very grateful for her! Everyone was very caring and compassionate and started treating me immediately. Dr. Lee had the very best bedside manner that I have ever seen. He came in immediately and took the time to explain what was happening and what he was going to do to get me back to normal!! I am very grateful they took action very quickly and got me out of there by 6am so I could get home to give my dog her insulin!! I was also very grateful to get a call from Dr. Lee this evening to see how I was doing!! What an amazing Dr. I wish he was my primary care Dr.!! Even the Patient Registration Coordinator was delightful!! I wish I remembered all their names! Thank you to the entire Advent Health staff!!"

"My dad went in for some tests, expecting to return later that day. He was asked to stay overnight. Then he was asked to stay another night. I visited him there and brought his laptop to him. The room he was in seemed all right. He was sharing it with someone and it smelled bad though. The most amusing thing about this hospital is the mural by the main entrance. Part of the mural says primitive medicine and depicts some kind of Indian witch doctor. I’ve included pictures and a video of what I’m talking about."
