Little Green Bees
About the Business
Little Green Bees is a unique school located at 1404 Wilson Avenue in Pensacola, Florida. Our institution is dedicated to teaching the importance of spending time outdoors in the garden and with bees. We believe in the benefits of eating whole foods for our health and are proud to offer a quality product from our family to yours.
Founded 12 years ago by Becca and James, Little Green Bees started with just one honey bee colony in their backyard. Now, we have over 30 bee colonies spread throughout south/southwest Pensacola. We produce table honey, therapeutic salves, tinctures, beeswax candles, and artisan soaps all crafted on our tiny suburban farm.
We love sharing our knowledge and passion for beekeeping with others. You can schedule a tour or attend a class to learn more about this wonderful craft. Visit us at the Palafox Market South in Plaza Ferdinand in downtown Pensacola to browse our handcrafted gifts and household items, try our salves and soaps, and take home a jar of beautiful local honey. Come talk to real beekeepers and experience the sweetness of Little Green Bees!

"Little Green Bees always has what I need! From the best local honey to fast-acting therapeutic salves, I know I will always be taken care of. I love to see them at all the different markets around town!"
"Best honey in the area! Best customer service! Becca and James are the real deal and have years of experience and knowledge about bees, remedies, Florida plant varieties and chickens and ducks. They are as natural as you will find!"
"Awesome peeps! Good honey! They let me try their mead too!"
"Little Green Bees is a pretty, quaint place to visit. They have beautiful angel trumpets along with numerous other plants. She once showed me several cocoons that were about to open. Little bunnies hop around the back garden along with a couple of chickens. The small pond had huge snails at one time. Several hives help pollinate the flowers and provide them with delicious honey, if you're interested she usually has honey to sell."
