"The food here was AMAZING. No bull high quality BBQ. The ribs were fall off the bone and had such a good smoky flavor. The mac & cheese was so creamy and seasoned as well. My boyfriend got the brisket sandwich and dirty rice which he rated 5 stars. We didn’t have a very long wait time either. I will be back to try the chicken soon. Highly recommend."

"I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place deserves it. Best ribs in the city by far. Always tender, always fresh and the sides are 5 stars. No sauce needed as the rub is legendary. "Hello friends, my wife was feeling hungry for ribs so we decided to hit a spot we tried last time called Chapmen BBQ and Soul Food. Location is outdoors as the establishment has an outdoor oven/slow cook grill. No outdoor seating, no restrooms. Take out only. Note: this directly message to the owner of Chapmen BBQ, we the customer spend our hard earned money on you for quality service and quality food which I happen to think this establishment has the potential to do and excel in. However, whenever you need to take time off and which I think we are all qualified to do, we the customers who invest in Chapmen BBQ would benefit from a notice of what is happening. It hurts your business. This way the customer know what to expect. Now back to the review, overall the food was good, the portion is good and the price is decent. However, I ordered two orders of ribs with double Mac and Cheese and a half of chicken with Mac and Cheese, I never got the Macaroni and cheese? I will try again and see if I get what I paid for."

"UPDATE: These guys have moved to US 19 across the highway from Kobe steakhouse just north of Roadway Inn. Address is 28792 US Hwy 19 N, Clearwater, FL 33761 Picked up a full rack of pork ribs from Chapman's at the corner of Main and Belcher in Dunedin. Oddly intrigued at the fully involved fire and smokefest on the south end of a Mobile Gas station. Don't worry. Fire station is less than 4,000 feet away. Digress over. Fantastic ribs. As a person of native Alabama heritage and having lived in the Caribbean as a child, I have some innate philosophical/voodoo comprehension of the art of Q, and I can say these could have approached infinite perfection if they had rendered a bit longer on the smoker for that unique legacy flavor of Luther's Burnt Ends. Some of the delicious pork fat was still unrendered in my rack, but that is easily solved by reheating in a slo oven and BONUS I then have some smoked pork schmaltz for chili. Fudgin' heavin yo. Parking is a bit of an issue, but if -- unlike me -- you are considerate, you will figure it out. Chapman's is full o'soul and smoke excellence and had me spinning Eddie Floyd Knock on Wood in no time. For some old sckool southern heaven, gitcha sum a dis soul sacrifice of pigness.
