"First time stopping in and will DEFINITELY be back. Apparently, they have new owners but the same pit master. Service was top notch and they showed us the plates as they were made! You give the approval and they box it up for you. My wife and I enjoyed the ribs, brisket, and pork. I thought I would be getting sliced brisket, but it was chopped. No big deal - still had an amazing flavor. The ribs fell right off the bone! You don’t even need bbq sauce for any of the meat. Don’t skip out on the collard greens or peach cobbler."

"I’ve been a regular customer for several years and I’m saddened to say that I agree with some of the other recent reviews here that the quality has taken a nose dive. I’m writing this with the sole hope that the new owners read this and make desperately needed changes: Please talk to whoever was managing the cooking previously, ask them to train you on how they ran the kitchen (especially the ribs and Mac and cheese recipes), and please please bring back all the food that we love so much!!!! I will unfortunately be taking my business elsewhere. I’ll only return if the food quality goes back to how it was before."

"I really enjoyed their brisket sandwich and the pulled pork wasn't bad either. The mac and cheese could've been better though. The potato salad did rock, my roommate attested. The prices were a bit too steep for what I got. $21+ for a sandwich with 2 sides and a piece of sweet potato pie - $5. I'd go back but but I'd order differently. I'm glad they're open in the evening now."

"i happy to have stumbled on this particular establishment; my confidence that good BBQ can be found. It was Delicious. Wished I was Hungrier haha but this my second BBQ in the area and by far this was the better. Tender, Juicy, I mean he meat was really coming off the bones, taste was really good. Their saw were also great. Only think okay didn’t like. Seems that they don’t give more than 1 or 2 differ types BBQ sauces. But overall I would come back and highlight recommend."

"I have been driving past this place for years, always taking note of the beautiful smoky smell and telling myself I need to stop by. We finally did, and good lord this place has some incredible BBQ. Get there early (just around 12) and they may have some specials like sausages. They sell out quick, and for good reason. The smoke is not overwhelming, just adds to the wonderful meat flavor. Super juicy. Sauces are pretty good too. Servings are huge and for really reasonable prices. A spread with half a rack of ribs, half a pound of brisket, a rib sandwich (around 4 ribs on white bread), and a chicken sandwich (quarter chicken light on white bread), with two sides, two sodas, two desserts, came out to about 60 bucks. We will be going back for sure. Parking is a little weird but its worth figuring out I promise. I highly recommend checking it out. You won't regret it."
