"Took my wife here for brunch today. Must be owned by Boca, because that’s where all the food comes from. Fish dip was good, Benedict’s were not. Muffin wasn’t toasted, no flavor to the crab or hollandaise sauce. Inside room was cold, outside tables and seats not very comfortable. Definitely not worth the price."
"Our server/bartender/host was awesome ! Waited about 30 minutes for our 5 grilled oysters , we also order the fish dip. Manager drops off our oyster then begins to tell us they are out of the fish dip. Oysters were great , bread was stale. If management would have communicated properly with our server and told her we were out of the dip we would have got something else ahead of time but we didn’t want to wait any longer . Would come back for the service , we are in the industry and understand times can get busy but their seemed to be a lack of communication."
"Originally planned to have Brunch/lunch at Boca but they were busy and recommended their sister restaurant which is right next door. We truly enjoyed the atmosphere, food and service. 10/10 hands down. Will definitely visit again."
"Like so many other reviews, the service is slow and seems unaware of the basic needs of their patrons. We had a table of four. We asked for utensils and they brought two sets of utensils (not four)?!? I also had to ask for drink refills. The experience was so slow that I also asked if I could pay while we were still waiting for our last food order to arrive. I realize that this may appear rude of me, but we wait soooo long. I would have been more understanding if we were there during prime time, but we arrived around 2:30 and didn't leave until around 4:30. We didn't order anything complicated. ABO, as they call themselves, is a lovable place. The restaurant is small and that gives it warmth, but the staff sucked all the warmth out of the room. I would give it another try, but my expectations with the current management is near incompetence."
"If you’re planning on trying this place out the first suggestion would be to bring a jacket because it is freezing. Out of the three entrees the only recommended dish would be the Marketplace Fish which was swordfish. It was flavorful and delicious the others were bland and had nothing special. We waited for the entrees for over 40mins. The Virginia oysters were nice and fresh. The downsides were that the music and atmosphere was a bit loud and not much attention from the servers. Our drinks were never refilled and our appetizer was not brought out but we were charged for it. The first thing the server did when we got up was to check how much we had left as a tip. Wouldn’t be back anytime soon."
