Steak 'n Shake

"What a horrible experience. The drive thru was very slow and the woman that took my order did not ring it up correctly. We were almost home when my hubby told me my order wasn't in the bag. We turned around and I went inside to take care of the order. When I walked in the place looked like it hadn't had a clean in a very long time. I ended up asking for the manager... the attitude that the manager had was absolutely disgusting. I never asked for free food but he treated me like I was a scammer and didn't care that I was upset about the situation. He made me soo uncomfortable and caused me to stress unnecessarily. I have a medical problem that stress will cause my body to have a flare up and end up in the hospital. I left soo disappointed that I will never recommend this location to anyone and never come back."

"The store manager that goes by candy was very rude & the girl Rachel that was at the window!! Cut me off very rudely! No good customer service! It betters ways to talk to people. Apparently it’s too hard to add an extra chicken tender to my order at the window. Tried to add it at the box but nobody didn’t answer and then she charge for a regular when I said a small milkshake. Forgot my drink, just rushing trying to hurry & close the window while you trying to talk to them! NEVER AGAIN!"

"Steak n shake I must say normally has the best milkshakes i've ever had. But for some reason whoever's making the milkshakes recently. They don't know how to milk their shake. And what I mean by this is it seemed like I was drinking milk and I hate milk. It was really watery. It did not have a lot of ice cream in it at all. And if you're gonna order a chocolate chip cookie dough milkshake, make sure you ask for extra cookie dough. Even though it is a 75 cent up charge you're gonna want it. Other wise you Will not have any cookie dough at all."

"Slightly older building with a decent bathroom but it needs cleaning and updating. The restaurant is now server free with self order and drink machine available for refills. Food is great but they were cheap on the amount of cheese they dropped on fries. Other sites give you more for your money. The food is worth the trip and having the app on your phone with an account saves lots of money."
