Dharma Southern Kitchen 5565 Old Cheney Highway, Orlando, FL 32807

"Me and my mom went a few weeks ago and we almost passed it on the directions because one the pictures that people shared online are actually another location in Orlando which I found out Dharma has 3 locations and the one I ended up at is nothing compared to the pictures, Meaning the building is bubblegum pink and the sign is small and it doesn’t really catch your eye to notice the restaurant it’s the full parking lot that catches your attention. Also the building seats in a middle of a neighborhood that might be sketchy. We had no problems it just you see a lot of trash on the other side of the road and homeless people for those people who don’t like to be around that type of environment but honestly once you go inside the restaurant the vibe is a bit up beat / relaxing and Great customer service, 100% plant- based Mean. Be aware the inside is super small can seat about 5 people but you do have the option to eat outside which seats 8 people (2 tables 4 chairs per table). Now the food I got the bbq fried chic’n (mushroom base) sandwich w/ cheezy Potatoes on the side (I believe that’s what it was called). My mother got the bbq jackfruit pull’n (kinda like pull pork) Sandwich. Both were very good but we didn’t care for the buns which was the sesame seed buns like you would get at Mickey D’s and Burger King the buns were a little dry but warm it just didn’t compliment the flavor of food maybe a vegan brioche or potato buns would have worked but it was amazing regardless."

"The food was so good!!! Really good!!! I took my cousin who is not vegan and she loved everything and we both want to go back as soon as we can. I also took some to go for my husband and son, and they loved all the food. The employees their were really nice too. The classic chik'n sandwich was huge. We really loved the Brussel sprouts and the flavor that they make for it, absolutely perfect, and so were the fried pickles. Their Buffalo sauce was the best I've tasted. Vegan Mac and cheese is one of those dishes that are hard to get perfect. It was not the best I've had, but it was good. I also added Buffalo sauce to half of it, and that was really good. We will definitely be going back!!!"

"Great food! Great service! Will be back. I had the GA peach sandwich. It was sweet but it was good. I think if they toned down on the sugar it would still be a tasty sandwich. Being vegan is hard when there's so much sugar in everything. But oan, the chicken nuggets were the best I've ever had by far."

"Me and my colleague visited this place during our business trip in Orlando. He eats gluten free so I looked for vegan gluten free options and found this one. Once we arrived there, we were already fascinated by the location. The people working there are very friendly and answered all the questions we had. We got served quickly and the food was so delicious that we went there twice. It was full of different spices and taste. We both loved it. The vibe sitting outside in the evening was so mesmerising that whenever I will be in Orlando, I will never miss this place to visit. Best vegan restaurant in Orlando!!!"
