"The food was amazing. The vibe was everything. Their fried chicken, chef’s kiss! Our server Fred is part of what made it a memorable experience! Ask for him when you stop in. Executive Chef Nikk has to absolutely love what he does. You taste it in the food. Can’t wait to come back."
"11/17/2023 This is in a gentrified area so it's very nice looking but there can be a number of homeless meandering. Once inside, it's pretty swanky looking. The food is good and in many cases unique and inventive flavor combinations. Presentation is also quality. I enjoyed the experience and it made for a nice date night. The fried chicken is a signature dish and I would say for good reason and you get two sides with it."
"I arrived here and the feel of this place is very welcoming, open and comfortable. There’s a nice little coffee station to order from when you walk in which provides an independent feel to it just being a restaurant. It feels like a really nice hangout to have a coffee or a drink. The barista was very friendly and informative. I had a business meeting here and when it came around time to order something, I was a bit disappointed with the selection. Not because it didn’t look good, but it seemed limited in choices and bistro like. Which isn’t a bad thing, they are common dishes with a bistro flair and upscale methods of preparation, but I didn’t see anything that peaked my interest. For the record, I do not eat bread, pasta, or fried chicken, and those items were staples in their dishes. However, if you like fried chicken, it seems to be the star of the menu. I would love to return to have a cocktail and enjoy the ambiance. I sat here for a few hours and you don’t even feel the time go by. The decoration has a bit of nostalgia and history and you feels almost like you’re in a different era, which I appreciated. It’s almost like a 3 in 1 because you have the designated coffee, a bar in the middle and then a dining area on the other side but offers a wide variety of seating. I have nothing but good things to say about this place and will return to give the menu a chance. I will then update my review."
"We came here on a busy and rainy Friday night in Orlando after some very positive recommendations from our friends. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful with the decor and artwork around. We sat at a table right in front of the kitchen pass so we could see all the food as it came out. A few people got cocktails and some people participated in the Magical Dining menu. Among the appetizers ordered, which only took 10-15 minutes to come out, the corn soup was good and tasted like corn bread almost, and the pork belly I was told was excellent. Unfortunately, we waited at least an hour for the entrees to finally come out, and my entree came out 5-7 minutes after everyone else's in our group. The kitchen was going as fast as it could but you could tell the kitchen was too small for the size of the restaurant and it certainly negatively impacted the service. The entrees (mushrooms, pork, salmon, chicken sandwich) were all really good and the portions were much bigger than expected. The food quality here was amazing, but I wish they had more options for people with dietary preferences/ restrictions (like dairy free - there were no dessert options). For dessert, the cheesecake in a jar was a bit lackluster but the cookie sandwich was delicious. We didn't get the brownie but that looked good at another table. With the caveat that service can be slow, we're eager to go here again for brunch!"
