Lam's Garden

"It's been almost 2 years since we visited this establishment. my last review of this restaurant was sadly disappointing at the time because the restaurant just got so popular and so busy that they lost sight of customer delight. I'm happy that they survived through COVID to hopefully reset their customer focus. That all said, we ventured in because Ming's Court was closed on Thursdays which happens to be when we came into town for some Dim Sum. I was presently surprised that Lam's Garden seems to have turned back to their customer centric service as well as really good Dim Sum. I wouldn't say it's the greatest Dim Sum ever, or even in Orlando, but it was very accommodating for a Thursday afternoon lunch. The crowd was steady, but not too busy. cost and value was also delightful."

"Went in for Sunday DimSum and what an absolute delight. The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The food was amazing for the hour and a half we were there, and for the items we didn’t know the name of they were great at playing food charades with us and finding what we we wanted. What a great place to go with friends for an amazing meal."

"For old timers and traditional Chinese food lovers they will find a lot to love about this restaurant from piping hot Dim Sum from dim sum carts to normal Chinese American style dishes. The dishes serve by this establishment is very flavorful, and variety wise, have a lot to offer; it's definitely a good place for Chinese cuisine enthusiasts to stop by whether you're are first timer or a regular. The only one off experience I receive is when the restaurant is on a non busy week day, in that case the staffing is reduced and the service received will seem to be low quality than normal. Setting wise, this establishment will not look as modern as most as it maintains a really traditional style Chinese ensemble from furniture to architecture and some people might be off put by that idea because they feel that it isn't "clean" looking. But I can honestly say the food hits the right spot and cravings."

"This restaurant serves truly authentic Chinese cuisine, making it the first genuine Chinese dining experience I've had in Orlando. I highly recommend it without hesitation. The dumplings, in particular, are outstanding as a starter. The establishment has ample seating available, and there is no need for reservations. I am certainly looking forward to returning in the future."
