"One of the worst dining experiences I have ever had!! Smokey Bones USED to be a welcoming place that served good barbeque and steak. What I experienced there was just awful. No one there seemed at all interested in working there. Was less than a quarter full but we waited almost 15 minutes for the server. Took and delivered drink order in a reasonable time. Took our order and waited so long we contemplated leaving. I actually was trying to find out how much I owed for the drinks but there was no one in sight to ask. Finally dinner appeared. I had salmon which was decent. But the steak that was ordered medium rare was inedible! It was cooked through, and difficult to even cut searching for even a hint of pink. Server, Jesse, was unavailable, spending most of his time on his phone. When we finally showed him the steak, he admitted it was poorly cooked but got nasty when we questioned him about his absence. We were given $5 off our $50 bill which was inadequate. No one came to address our concerns. Just a really bad experience at this place. If you are thinking of dining there, think twice. And there was trash on the floor. Napkins, etc."

"The service from Adriana and the music were great. The brisket was very dry. My brother's chicken was also dry. I feel like the food quality has been declining here a bit in the past few months. That includes take out and dine in."

"Saturday night near Disney so lots of families; dirty crayoned walls in our booth area; funny wet pipes smell upon entering; framed jokes about bones everywhere; nice bar with tons of tv screens. Good server, Anferny. It was so busy they were behind in wrapping setups so we didn’t have silverware for a bit but both the manager and Anferny apologized and got it out to us. The Brunswick stew was tangy and very sweet. Great from scratch ranch dressing and salad comes with cornbread croutons. My husband’s pulled pork sandwich came with Texas toast that had garlic butter on it and he said that affected the taste; he didn’t like it. Mac and cheese was cavatappi with a from scratch cheese sauce that was on the bland side. He added salt. He said the pulled pork was excellent. There were four worn bottles of bbq sauce on the table; he liked the original recipe sauce. But I felt that the bottles were probably germ-y because the letters were rubbed off and there were so many kids there…and you’re touching that bottle right before you eat your sandwich…best to have hand sanitizer on the table is my opinion. I wonder if it’s cleaner at lunch time on a weekday? This was our first time. Considering the prices we weren’t that impressed."
