LaSpada's Original Cheesesteaks & Hoagies

"Very disappointed in this location. My order wasn't difficult but they managed to screw it up completely. With a convenient and stupid rule that allowed them to not fix it. I don't know if it was the person taking the order or the one preparing it. Otherwise it's still a great tasting cheesesteak. I'll travel up to the Sanford location next time. While there eating my food they managed to completely screw up the only other two customers orders that came in. So it wasn't an isolated incident."

"I've been coming here for years. The portions are still huge but the quality and value as with most places these days is just not there. I got 4 cheese steak sandwiches and four fries and 4 bottles of water. $75.00 is very pricey. If it was amazing then maybe it could be justified but what I received was more quantity than quality. Not enough cheese and the flavor was just not there. And the sandwiches were very dry due to overcooked meat. Very disappointed and I probably won't go back."

"The owner was very friendly, so much so that I actually feel bad leaving a one-star review. …But I am not reviewing his bedside manner, I came to get lunch. My initial impression after walking in was to walk back out. The place could use a deep cleaning or a mop, at the very least. Again not a huge deal, I am there to get lunch, not marvel at shiny floors. I asked if they had a Chicago-style hotdog to which they replied: "would you like lettuce on it?", to which I said no, thank you. I also ordered a cheesesteak with hot peppers and cheese. After about 15 minutes, I received my hotdog and cheesesteak. The hotdog was suffering from an identity crisis. It didn't know if it wanted to be a hoagie or a hotdog. I got back and noticed it had the lettuce on it that I did not want, but it wasn't bad tasting, just way too much bread for what should have come on a hotdog bun. The cheesesteak looked good, it did not have the hot peppers I asked for, but I can roll with that. Allow me to preface this next part because I don't like to waste food ever, especially when its from an animal origin. When an animal sacrifices its life the very least I could do is finish my meal and not toss whats left of the animal in the trash. It just seems wrong to me. To say something was off putting with the flavor of the cheesesteak is an understatement. There was some foul rancid flavor in the cheese or the meat. I was barely able to swallow the one and only bite I took. A coworker asked to try it, and he said the same thing, "Something is wrong with that meat. It's old or something." I was really hopeful this would be good, I am now still hungry and feeling a little nauseated at the rancid taste in my mouth. Regretfully, Nate"

"In the area buying some home renovation items close by and after 5 hrs of flooring I was starving. We saw this restaurant close by and why not give it a shot. We ordered our food and waited for it. The gentleman behind the counter were very nice and funny. The sixes of the subs were huge and they tasted pretty good. I don’t have a LaSpada’s near my home so all the more reason to pass by. Good sandwiches and excellent service."
