"We decided to visit based on reviews and was conveniently located. My wife and I were totally disappointed. Pricing was high in my opinion for what we got, but even worse, the food was terrible! I love to eat and love shrimp. I got blackened shrimp with baked potato. My wife got the shrimp and grits. Her shrimp and grits came out and it was room temp at best. My potato came out without butter and sour cream, but was hot. My blackened shrimp was over cooked and would definitely not call it blackened. Poorly seasoned maybe, bit blackened- no way! I’ve had better blackened shrimp through fast food - Captain-D’s. It was so bad, I left about 1/3 of my shrimp behind. About 15 min after our food arrived, I finally got the butter and sour cream for my potato. It was honestly the best part of the meal… sadly. The floors in the restaurant were so unlevel, I escorted my wife arm-in-arm just to make sure she didn’t fall. The bathroom floors were the same. I do not know how they pass city inspection. It’s got to be a safety hazard and it should be looked at. Out waitress , Anna, was nice and had a friendly smile. She did a good job but could tell she was overstretched with all her customers. It was a trip that was convenient to the base but it was definitely a regrettable visit to this establishment."
"Our friends loved this place, but we thought it was a typical seafood place on the water with just the right amount of grit. Great views..... we watched the blue angels and enjoyed the obnoxious seagulls as our entertainment. The fried pickles were huge! The hushpuppies had a bit of spice. My partner really enjoyed the blackened seasoning on his scallops and shrimp."
"Not as good as I remember but was still satisfied! Prices have gone up like everything else in life but for my 30.00, I got 11 decent sized grilled shrimp, 7 huge scallops and two sides! Clam chowder was just ok. I remember it being amazing but it has been 6 years! Got to see dolphins! Beautiful to sit outside!"
"It’s ok. The fresh local mayport shrimp was good. The grits are horrible. The crab legs was too salty. The Jalapeños Crab Poppers were super delicious. That all folks. The crawfish was super small. I got the boil combo for two. The sever I got was rude."
"Atmosphere was very relaxing, we ate outside in the covered patio and watched the ferry pass by. The servings was huge and i enjoyed the oyster platter. The scallops were sweets and decadent. Service was on point and our waiter was outstanding"
