"I love Lauren's. The atmosphere is truly for the older crowd. The bartender was great! She kept them coming (within reason). The chef Kevin came out personally to see how we liked the food. The DJ kept it pumping with that old school. ****Try the shrimp and crab egg roll****"

"Salty Oxtails The atmosphere was nice! Cool jazz music was a vibe! But we waited an hour for our food which was very salty (oxtails and grits)! After an hour the waiter told my other guest they sent someone to the grocery store to get liver and they came back with the wrong liver!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!! She actually told us this! Eat before you go!"

"Lauren’s is a great vibe with daily events, mature crowd, not overly crowded, happy hour is affordable and the customers are super nice. HOWEVER the drinks are subpar, the cocktails aren’t mixed properly. I’ve been here 4x for the music and the experience but every time the drinks are a miss. I’ve brought at least 7 people and they all say the same. I would recommend coming 1000% but order soda, wine or beer (things that are premade and require no mixing) and the food taste good but is slow to come out so don’t come super hungry unless you are prepared to wait 30 minutes"

"Pretty atmosphere, I love the way it looks in there. They play life music and I loved it. I had lemon pepper chicken wings with fries and fried broccoli, everything was honestly delicious. A little pricey but it was delicious. I had a drink, I do not remember the name of the drink but it was good. Definitely do recommend going mostly if you are into live music. I did go on a slow night so I don’t know how pack it can get on a busy night but overall I enjoyed my night; i do definitely want to go back and recommend it."
