"Empanadas were store bought frozen and were mush and tasteless. The aji sauce needs work. I got the Colombian hot dog since it was my fan favorite as a kid living in Colombia and man the disappointing rendition. The moment I heard the microwave in the back with lots of beeps, it was over. The staff were nice. Empty place though. The place is so beautiful. The food though was not it"

"We were looking for a “local” restaurant to try while we were visiting the Jacksonville area and found several restaurants in this plaza. We decided to try Al Toque because I saw they had churrasco on the menu. We arrived around 2:30pm on a Thursday (in between lunch and dinner hours) and we were the only customers. We were immediately greeted upon entering and the atmosphere was very inviting with salsa music placing and a soccer game playing on a screen they had set up. We were served a mini cup of soup as a sample and it was so good that my boyfriend ordered it for his meal. We also tried aguapanela for the first time and it was delicious. The service and food were excellent! If we lived in the area, this would be a restaurant we would frequent on a regular basis. We were informed that they have “Colombian Parties” on Saturday nights so we might have to make it back sometime on a Saturday to check it out."

"Shout out to this place. Seriously you should check it out. The food, flavors, quality, service and generally fun atmosphere.. it’s like a party inside! The server was helpful explaining the dishes and helping us choose the most authentic Colombian food and even gave us background of the regions each type it from. They definitely will get a return visit.. can’t wait to eat through this menu and learn about such a lovely culture!"
