Gemma Fish + Oyster

"The ambiance and esthetic was very nice but the food and wait time for the food was terrible. I ordered the fried oysters which were salty and over battered. Then I order the roasted chicken. Which took extremely to long to come out I just took it to go. Once I got it home I realized it was burned and raw at the same time. The outside was cooked but the inside was very much raw. I’m very disappointed b/c the food wasn’t cheap and I had to recook my food. I will not be returning to this establishment."

"We came on the third day of their opening. Omg! We just loved this place. I wanted to order everything off the menu. We ordered 3 apps, 2 dinners. I thought the dinner options could be little better for the price. We had a great server which added to the whole experience. I was just on here looking to book another reservation and sad to see it only has 4.1 rating. This place is definitely 5 star place!"

"The atmosphere is everything!!! from the outside dining to the rooftop dining. It is absolutely lovely It’s a vibe. The food……. so I ordered the salmon and unfortunately it was way too salty whatever the seasoning that they had on the top of the salmon it was way too salty for my likings. I even chopped it up and I put it in my rice and it was still a bit too salty. The drink that I had for my meal was named Annabella. It was a sweet apple pear with rum I think along with champagne. It was nice and sweet. I was on the rooftop and although it is 42° in Jacksonville today the heating lamps that they had was really giving me the warmth that I needed to remain on the rooftop it’s s absolutely beautiful. It’s not all open so that all the wind is blowing on you. They have the shades that they put down so it doesn’t really feel like you’re just open to the elements. The bar is absolutely beautiful on the rooftop. You can sit back and watch the bartenders make drinks all day long. Very lovely very clean nice presentation. The seating on the rooftop is just comfy. Cozy. Very inviting. My vegetables and rice with my meal was very tasty. The presentation was lovely. My waitress was the sweetest most attentive, young Lady , her name was basically two initials and I forgot what they were already but she was absolutely delightful to have. Downstairs is a whole vibe the seating, the ambience is just lovely. I would definitely visit this place again will I get the salmon? Absolutely not besides my salty salmon the rest of my food was absolutely delicious."

"Great ambience. Owner owns ember and iron on cr 210 as well. Knowing the owner, love seeing the success in her restaurants. Oyster bar is a great touch, very tasty as well. I had the fish and chips, my cousin had the salmon. Both great (add a little salt). Great vibe in the restaurant"
