Reviews of Moe's Southwest Grill
"Do not ever order Uber Eats. Apparently, the staff cannot see the full order, so it never comes as requested. Today they forgot my entire meal, but they were sure to include chips and dips this time. I will never again place an Uber Eats order from this store. They are unequipped to fulfill the orders properly."
"Apparently this location closes 45 minutes earlier than advertised on Saturday nights. Location shown to be open until 10pm on the app and on the door but when as soon as I got out of my car one of the employees was already walking to the door mouthing that they were closed. The food behind the counter wasn’t even put away, it was still hot enough to be steaming. Used to prefer this location, not anymore."
"I hate to say it, but Moe's has really lost its charm. This used to be our go-to takeout place, but the recent experience at this location left us sorely disappointed. First of all, the prices have been steadily increasing, and the quality of service has not followed suit. It's frustrating to see that the cost keeps going up while the overall experience is at an all-time low. The value for money just isn't there anymore. The staff at this Moe's are painfully slow. Waiting in line feels like an eternity, and even after a lengthy wait, the end result is often unsatisfactory. It's disheartening when they can't even roll a burrito properly. It's a fundamental skill for a Mexican fast-food joint, and when they get it wrong, it's a major letdown. The problem is exacerbated by the fact that when the place seems to be busy, which is quite the opposite, people are forced to turn around and leave due to the excessive wait times and subpar service. Moe's is clearly missing out on potential customers because of this. Overall, this Moe's location has lost the qualities that made it a beloved takeout spot. It's no longer worth the money, and I hope they address their issues to bring back the enjoyable dining experience we once knew. Until then, we'll be looking elsewhere for our burrito fix."
"We went here tonight for a team fundraising event. We ordered online for to go but they failed on that. 1. The food - the bowls were as empty as could be. Almost no rice, I ordered double chicken and it was nonexistent. It tasted ok but they didn’t want to give much. There was almost more sauce than there was other food. 2. The service - the flyer said 10% goes to the organization on to go orders. My wife called after ordering to make sure they knew it was for the organization and they said they would t honor it for online orders. 3. The price - for $40 plus dollars for 3 meals you’d expect a lot more. I remembered why we stopped going here. We’ll stick with chipolte"
"UPDATE: After posting this review and filling out the online Moe's survey, I received a call from the one of the owners, the COO, Steve. I was pleasantly surprised to find this company cares about it's customers' satisfaction and loyalty. It's refreshing to find a company that does more than pay lip service to the concept of customer service. I want to be clear in my review that my complaint is not with the overall quality of the food here. It is good food. And no complaint about Moe's in general (in fact this is my favorite Florida Moe's, I travel all over Florida and have tried many locations). e Also I would like to single out Emily, Joe and Ken as excellent employees. They've been with the company a long time and I have had nothing but great service from all of them. The food in this location has always been excellent, fresh and tasty. The salsa has always been excellent. I love the new guac salsa. My complaint is that the portion sizes for my "go to" meal changed drastically (got smaller) and I no longer could justify the cost vs value. Back to my complaint: Steve explained the change I experienced (horrible portion size) was a corporate decision and ONLY made to the tacos (go figure!). Steve urged me to try other menu items that have not been monkeyed with by corporate and report my experience back to him. Since I love this location as one of my "go-to" lunch destinations, I was very disappointed to have to write off the tacos-- but I will go back and try other menu items. I have amended the review to 4 starts to reflect the problem is only with one menu item (can't justify higher until corporate changes it back). original review below: $14 for four half-empty grilled chicken tacos? I don’t think so. I used to love this Moe’s— I would eat lunch here at least once per week, sometimes 2-3 time per week. But they have apparently cut their portion size in half and kept the price the same. You should not be half full after paying $14 for lunch. Tacos with a tablespoon portion of chicken per taco...really? I get far better value for my money at Chipotle or Pollo Tropical. This is the second time in a row this happened, I should have know better than to try agiam after the first time, but I thought give it one more chance. Never again Moe’s, I’m done!"
