Julington Creek Fish Camp

"We're from Virginia & staying at the World Golf Village. Sunday, 2/18/2024, at 15:00 (3pm), marked the 2nd time I ate here. The first time was back in February of 2020 when I was down for my brother's promotion to Commander while stationed over at NAS Mayport. This is perhaps the only seafood restaurant I've been to that offers a fresh fish selection that you can select straight out of their window as part of their menu offerings. 4 yrs ago, it was flounder. Today, it was yellowtail snapper. Because of my experience in 2020, & despite recommendations of places throughout St. Augustine from our resort staff, I had my heart set on coming back here. It definitely didn't disappoint & I'm so glad we came back to eat. Between my wife & I, we spent $95 before the tip. Mainly due to my whole fresh fish selection. The base price is $23 for the first pound and then $1.25/oz. Which I don't think is really that bad at all. Turned out the fish I selected, which was the smallest out of the assortment, was roughly 2.75 lbs. So my meal alone was roughly $57. But it was, oh, so good! For a once in a bluemoon experience like this, it was well worth it. The place is definitely on my go-to list when I'm in the area for a getaway."

"A very lovely place. Great customer service. The best in the area. I was told that most of the fish served there is fished by local people. I loved it. Drinks and cocktails are extraordinary. We went for my birthday in December and it was a bit cold but the heaters were on and that made our evening cozy. Oysters are a must! Don't miss them"

"Fantastic first time experience last night! The specialty cocktails were delicious, fried gator tail the most tender we’ve ever had and the broiled seafood platter - blackened - was amazing! Our kiddo thought she was enjoying “chicken” thanks to our accomplice server and she polished off her share of fried gator tail bites! Excellent service from Alayna and her team. The enclosed heated patio had the perfect nook for our impromptu dinner party of 7. Highly recommend!"

"Highly recommend the scallops and flounder. Everything was super fresh, it's obvious they were caught in the morning and not frozen. Both blackened and fried were really good. I asked for some dip, I don't think they usually include it since the food itself is so flavorful, but I like it on my fries. Service was exceptional."
