"Went to the ER on 2/8 with major blood loss due to blood clots, the ER staff was excellent other than that it took from 2:30 to 8:30 to get into a room. Once in the room, the nurse I had the first night was awesome. The RN the next day is where it went bad! I was withheld food for a pending surgery and by 10 AM when she first entered my room and shift change was at 7, no surgery had been mentioned and I said I was hungry. I am a diabetic, and this nurse after being rude the first go around, sent a tray to me without checking my sugar level or giving me my insulin. She just acted as if all she wanted to do was sit at the nurse's station and maybe do paperwork. She came in to give me medication and was snotty, my husband was witness to this, never scanned my armband, or asked me name, date of birth, or anything. This hospital should screen its nurses and observe them before offering employment. People that come in there that have to be admitted are sick and deserve compassion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to have a pelvic biopsy in which and nerve was pinched in my back making it impossible for me to move off the bed, and the day nurse on Saturday the 10th rushed me through discharge anyway. It took 2 nurses and my husband to get me to a sitting position to be able to get dressed for discharge, and into the wheel chair. I have to give one star to be able to post this, but like I told admin I wouldn't refer a dead dog to this hospital for a correct diagnosis."
"I had a recent procedure at Andalusia Health. The registration process was super easy and the ladies were very friendly! Everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful. I want to especially thank Amy, Terri, Tina, Hannah, Sam, Carrie, Willie, Michele, Brittanee and Dr. Day! It was a wonderful experience and I didn’t have to travel out of town. Thank you again Andalusia Health!"
"My husband had outpatient surgery and I can't tell you how great the service was from the friendly registration desk ladies to the outpatient nurses and staff. The surgery crew and anesthesia were excellent and recovery returned him with a smile and caring. As a health care provider myself I work in numerous facilities and could have my choice but I picked where they treat you like family. A bigger institution is not always better. You have a jewel in Andalusia Health. Thanks to Ava, Amy, Sonya, Tra, Lizzie, Tonya, Hannah G, Carrie, Mary Elizabeth, Terrie, Willie, and Dr Ashton Wells. Their are many others but a sincere thank you!"
"I had to take my child to the ER the other night and the very young sweet girl working in the front waiting room could not have been more heaven sent. She was so patient with my child and so helpful. I felt so sorry for her having to deal with all the people who were so rude and hateful to her when she was just doing her job. The back staff was good too. The doctor didn’t seem too interested but then again I know they are very busy. When we left the lady up front made sure to say goodbye to my son and made him feel so comfortable. He keeps asking to go back to see his new friend Stefanie."
"I had a great experience at the Walk In Clinic this past week. I had a terrible cough and needed to be seen. I walked in and was seen quickly. The Staff was wonderful and very friendly. I was able to get my medication and go home. The nurse practitioner was wonderful and very patient with all of my concerns. The practitioner was Melissà Johnson."
