"I would highly recommend this place. Food was delivered in a timely manner. The vibe is pretty chill. Be mindful, place was completely full when we went (it was a Tuesday). Since it was just two of us, and we were celebrating our anniversary, we were lucky enough to be seated right away. I had the 8oz lobster tail and it was the best I have had in my entire life. Food was so fresh and you could taste the quality of the meal. I also had sushi, and honestly, best sushi I've had in Miami."

"I was shocked to see that this place had an average rating of 3.5. I've lived so close to this restaurant and this is my first time here. The interior is absolutely amazing. It transported me back in time to my younger years. I'm not a seafood fan but the family is so I'll take one for the team. The restaurant did not smell like a fish house. The waiter (Anthony) was absolutely great. He was very honest and took his time explaining all the dishes and their accompanying sides. We ordered Churrasco, Trout, Lobster & Oysters. All the food was fresh, delicious and large serving size. We loved the atmosphere and decor. We have to come back for crab season. Well done Captains Tavern!!!! We'll definable be back."

"We went to Captain’s Tavern and it was so good! The sushi was surprisingly good and portions were fresh and large. The salmon sushi was especially delicious! My husband got the blackened hogfish and it was so fresh and tasty. The dessert was a white brownie with ice cream that was enormous! We will be back!"
