"Gator Creek BBQ in Ave Maria (Blues, Brews, BBQ event)- After asking for a "lean" serving of beef, served fat vs BBQ brisket, the coleslaw was dry like it was fresh out of a bag for $20, The whole serving tray was the same, are you kidding me .... terrible !!!!! I am kind of surprised at the owners response.... Obviously you didnt read my post with a pause to reflect.... The ENTIRE TRAY was nothing but fat, after my request the server should have said sorry we are just serving Smoked Fat, I mean the entire big tray was nothing but FAT, my ignorance of not refusing the serving after I paid. I am not really wanting my money back, this energy was mainly so the mgr/owner/workers would see it and maybe think/say, "hey we nothing but fat left to sell , lets stop selling it". too bad I didnt take a picture of it..."

"Tried this food truck out at the "Cars On 5th" car show in Naples and it was the best BBQ I think that I have ever had. The Texan sandwich and the Gut Buster Fries are absolutely delicious. My Wife ordered the Honey Heat Chicken Sandwich and loved it as well. I would definitely recommend giving them a try!"

"Unfortunately very disappointed with our choice of Gator Creek. We chose them for our rehearsal dinner, thinking we were getting the food truck. It wasn’t until the week of the event that they messaged about chafers and the miscommunication was figured out. Of course at that point it was too late, and I call my own blunder for that. Was still looking forward to the food, even if the catering for 60 ppl at $1000 didn’t include any chafers, utensils or plates. None the less, the food was also a bust. Everything came dry. Coleslaw, just cabbage mix etc.. almost like they forgot to put the dressing on. Mac and cheese was also dry - noodles with minimal or no cheese. The chicken and pork were also dry, but the bbq sauces were tasty. In response to review reply: there is no place on your website that indicates these are two different services - I submitted a blanketed contact form that does not ask for specifications and as I indicated directly to you - I had no idea NOT having the food truck was an option. I only know “Gator Creek BBQ food truck” - hence why I declined servers, as I thought we were operating out of a food truck and servers didn’t make sense to me. At $15.51/pp that’s $930 and I paid $60 in chafers- approximately $1000 total and I had to run out to purchase plates and cutlery. The food did not sit - as soon as it was set out we opened it up and dug in, and my groom pointedly mixed up the coleslaw and max and cheese himself in order to try and mix up any sauces (although we were disappointed to discover neither were saucy at all). Even if coleslaw is not Mayo based, it should not be dry and that was what we received. Thank you for your response. I hope our services with you were simply an unfortunate happening, but it certainly made an impression on myself and our guests. Quite embarrassing for people to be joking how dry the food was at a lovely rehearsal dinner."

"OMG!!! I drove an hour just to eat here. Brisket sandwich was amazing. The fries were so tasty. The wings were literally perfect. Everything was amazing. Such great sauce options for the pork. Everything was perfect!!! Can’t wait to try everything else!!!"
