Waffle House

"I have been in over 50 WH locations across the United States and this visit on 2/12/24 at 930am was just awful. Me and my companion sat and waited quite a while just to be acknowledged by a server (whose English was very limited). No menus handed out, not drink orders taken, just "What do you want?". I ordered an All Star, over medium with sausage and home fries. My friend ordered 2 eggs over easy with bacon. Both orders arrived, on my plate was 2 eggs and homefries. My friend got scrambled eggs and smothered home fries, not what she ordered. Sent it back and the cook apparently misunderstood and slid the eggs and potatoes onto a new plate and the waitress tried to serve it again. Finally realized what was wrong and reordered. I started on my eggs and when I cut into them, absolutely hard, no liquid yolk. Certainly not over medium. My friends order finally arrived with thetwo eggs and potatoes on a plate. I asked the waitress where my sausage and waffle and my friends bacon were. She said she didn't know I wanted a waffle (it part of the All Star combo) and that the sausage and bacon were cooking. Finally got the protiens and she set a waffle down at the table. No butter, no syrup. Maybe both the server and cook were new? Not a good visit at all."

"Mateo working shift needs to be trained as a server again. My husband and I sat down everything was fine till he got our drink order in and food at the same time mind you it took him about 20 minutes to give us our drinks… we sat down wayyyy before this group that had came in and mind you it was like a party of awash 10 people and he proceeds to take their order before getting our drinks I ordered a coffee and my hubby got a water. I had to tell him “ hey can we please get our drinks “ and he goes “ yeah “ then proceeds to go to another table to their order and I had to say “ before you take their order “ We ended up leaving because we just didn’t want to deal with it …"

"I enjoyed the food at Waffle House, especially considering it's a diner. The service was okay, and the cleanliness stood out. However, the coffee was a letdown. Overall, a decent experience."

"Clean!!! Because with Waffle House it can be hit or miss! This one is a win. The 2 girls working were so sweet. The cook was on point and the food was hot and yummy and what you would expect from a good waffle house. We definitely will be back. Very convenient off I75 as well with easy access for travelers. We live off Bonita Beach Rd so we are locals. It's a good Waffle House. We will go back!"

"Easy to see and access from the I75. Came during the late morning and there was no crowd. Waitress was super sweet and the food came out fast. Everything tasted great and portions were on the bigger side."
