Off the Bone BBQ + Ribhouse

"We have been wanting to try the new Off The Bone in Estero for some time as we really enjoy good BBQ. We finally had a chance on Presidents Day February 19th around 1:30. We stopped in to the store front and we were created with a sign to order at Pelican Larry's. We were not planning on having a drink but decided a cold beer for me and a glass of wine for my wife would be good. We went in and it was not busy as the inside bar had two other couples. We had a seat and after about 5 minutes we were asked: "what do you want" ? We asked if we can order some BBQ from OTB and he said yes. We asked if we could see a couple of menus and then several minutes later he handed us menus. We asked if we could order drinks, he was like yes what do you want? We ordered the beer and wine and did get those fairly quickly as he sat them in front of us and continued his conversation with another employee. I asked if we could order? My wife wanted the "Smoke Show" (Brisket Sandwich) and I ordered the "High On The Hog" sandwich. After about 20 minutes I asked the bartender where our food was, and he said he would check. A few minutes later he comes back and says it would be about 10 more minutes. After who knows how long the food was brought out. Hoping the wait was going to be worth it, and we were totally disappointed.! Absolutely the worst BBQ. the pork was slimy and had a bad taste, the Brisket was very dry and more like dried beef. It was also supposed to have horseradish sauce and it didn't. After flagging down the bartender and interrupting him he asked what we needed. Ask for the horseradish but it really didn't help it at all. Bottom line, don't waste your time or money on this terrible tasting meat. The service was subpar as well, so if we could have given NO STARS we would have."

"Off the Bone BBQ NOPE just DRY RIBS. I was very disappointed as you can see the dry ribs I received. Nothing was falling off the bone just very dry and probably old ribs. Why would they serve old dry ribs not sure and nothing is falling off the bone as the name states."

"The food was decent. The brisket had too much fat. The Brussel sprouts were awesome. And the bread pudding is fantastic! Service was slow and unattentive."

"I hate to give reviews like this but was not impressed. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and the buns were cold like if they had just been pulled out of the plastic bag. My husband ordered a full rack of ribs and it was more like a half a rack and sadly the ribs were over cooked and barely had any meat on them, meat was hard. Wish I would have taken a picture of the ribs but I was so disappointed that I didn’t even think about it. Even though the food was not good the service was actually very good. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. The reason I give 4 stars was for the service."
