Reviews of St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus Early Learning Center
"Horrible school. My 4y old came home and told us that she drank something in science class and she started vomiting the next day. I went to the school and discussed it with the teachers and they basically said my 4y old was lying. We did not send her back. Be careful who you leave to care for your kids!!"
"My first grandson has been going to St Therese for over 4 years and always had great teachers! Now my second grandson is 7 months old and they just got an awesome teacher in the infant/toddler room and her name is Miss Morgan! It feels good to have such loyal and dedicated staff! June Hornung"
"We love St.Therese! Ms.Jackie is a wonderful teacher and the staff is great."
"Would not recommend this school to anyone! The director of the school told me that “having a smart child is not always a good thing” during a parent teacher conference and I knew right then this place was not the nurturing place an intelligent kid needs. There is very little structure and the teacher turn over is very high."
"I wanted so badly to love this school. My daughter attended a school downtown that we loved but with our move to a new home, we had to change daycares. I'm giving the school 2 stars only because my daughter and I really liked Ms. Carmen but where do I even begin to explain the issues I had in the short 3 weeks my daughter was there. Let's start with security. 10 of the 14 days my daughter was there, there was no one at the front desk when I came to pick my daughter up. Ppl just let each other in and had free access to classrooms. One day a child actually let me in because they had not yet gotten my access info. Let's go on to development. This school doesn't seem to care where your child is development wise. Only age. My daughter was 11 months old in a class that they accept 6 week old babies. She was the only one walking and yet when I asked the woman at the front if they could accommodate my daughter and add in a walking toy or two and things for her age, I got nothing. After the teacher left for the day, they put her in a bouncer that was way too small. Her knees were touching the bottom when I arrived. Not to mention she was in someone else's clothing. But the straw that broke the camel's back for me is the day the NEGLECTED TO FEED MY CHILD. Someone accidentally wrote that she had her 3rd bottle however she was also listed as napping at that time. When I arrived at 5 she hadn't had her last bottle or snack. She hadn't been fed since noon. You would think someone would apologize or come back and tell me how sorry they were or something. I got a nonchalant, I'll look into it with no follow up. Needless to say, I pulled my daughter out of the school. I debated posting this but thought to myself, if only someone gave me this info ahead of time. The hardest part of being a working mother is finding ppl you can trust with your child. I was so stressed some mornings having to leave her there until I could find an alternative. Happy the headache is over."
