"My daughter is almost 2. I took her out of this school a week ago and she is now a different child. She is eating again, she is talking like never before, she is outgoing, and she is happy! I feel horrible for not listening to my intuition and taking her out sooner. I couldn’t stand her teacher because she would always drop her off to me with a big fake smile and didn’t look genuine at all. I had to ask her everyday if my daughter ate, napped, and had a good day. She was so dry and barely communicate anything at all. My daughter was bit twice in 2 weeks by two different kids. The second time the teacher did not even tell me. I found the bite mark on her arm and asked. She blamed the other kids parents and didn’t take responsibility for her negligence. I’ve found scratches on my daughter from school that I have no idea how she got. One day my daughter threw up and she punished her for it!! Telling her “girls do not throw up!” And shaming her for it. I also found out she was force feeding my daughter. My daughter cried every day before school and I just thought that she needed time to adjust. Then my neighbors told me a child died at this school last year due to suffocating because no one there knew CPR. Also heard they hit the baby’s when they cry. I’m the sweetest person ever but If I ever see this teacher ever again I’m pretty sure I’ll punch her in her face. Do NOT put your child here! I will report this school and I hope they close down."
"There is so much to say but I'm going to make this short as possible. When the director left Carmen and the new director came what was pleasant here at one point became a nightmare. Lack of communication to parents that doesn't speak spanish for one. My son was happy to attend this school from the age of 2 until he turned 4 in December of 2022. He has been complaining about Teacher Olga hitting him and mishandling him inappropriate. Forcing his head down to nap, shoveling his chair into the table and many more complaints of a bruise from my child who is bilingual and even told me bad things that Olga said about me as if she forgotten he understand spanish fluently. He also told me that other kids are being hitten by Olga for bad behavior. If your child can't talk and tell you what's going on than I would definitely suggest that you don't enroll your child in this school at this location. We as moms have to protect our kids from people like this. Private sounds good but do your research for the sake of your child and avoid this school."
"I son went to VPK at this school with teacher Alicia. I really only have nice, wonderful things to say about her and the director Carmen as well. My son learned a lot and loved going to school. Not once did he cry to go in nor did we have any problems. Great communication, Alicia would text and update me and answer any questions I had. She also has lots of experience and patience with the kids. You can tell she truly loves what she does. Also the school is walking distance from our house so it was extremely convenient. My son also liked the lunch almost every day. Highly recommended :)"
"My son has been attending this school since he was one year old. He loves all his teachers and has learned a lot. We are very grateful to the prior director, Ligia, because she was on top of everything that went on. However, she was moved to another location. We are still getting to know the new director, but are happy so far. The school is very clean, the teachers care and they have a star, named Mayra, that is a gem. The kids adore her and I don't know what I would have done were it not for her care of my baby boy throughout the years. He trusts her and that's important to me, as I am sure it is to all parents. I could not be happier with this school and highly recommend it."
"I have my kids at this daycare. When i enrolled my daughter there, the director there then, Alicia was amazing! Then came another director, Ligia who had completely destroyed this school. She was the rudest person to all the staff and even more to the parents. The school went down hill while she was there. Some of their best teachers left and those who stayed lost a bit of their engagement due to their terrible leader who's only focus was to be there for a paycheck and had no interest in the children's education. The school is finally under a new Director Carmen, who has been amazing thus far! She is very respectful, knowledgeable and loves what she does. She's also very encouraging to the teachers, which goes a long way for an amazing team. For the parents who have been there for more than a year, I am sure they can tell you the difference. From representation of the school and teachers to even the kids. The environment is so different. My 1 yr old goes crazy with Mayra. Mayra is the ultimate reason I was able to keep my children there and not change them. Her compassion for these kids is amazing! Alicia, Olga, Naby and Tania have all been a part of both my children and they are all amazing! The kids have begun doing school activities and learning again. While some parents lack to see proper management and may or may not agree with some of the current changes, I am very happy to still have my kids at this daycare. There is nothing that makes me happier for my kids to walk in to school and they want to be there. This in a small child, goes a very long way."
