Barra Cevichera Peruvian Food

"We went for the first time on Dec-09-2023 and we were very disappointed with the poor service provided.Firstly the waitress did not bring the menu,fork and knife and we had to do it ourselves and she never came to pick up the empty dishes. Secondly the waitress took wrongly the ceviche order and we returned it to make the correct one.Lastly we waited for 45 mins for the tacu tacu with octopus that was advertised as specials and we asked the waitress the status of our order and she said that they ran out of octopus and offered seafood. We waited for another 25 mins and the order was not brought so we decided to cancel the order and we left to find another place to eat Peruvian food. In total we waited more than an hour to complete the order however we came at 4:25 pm and left at 6:25pm. The portion of the ceviche is too small for the price charged however the cebiche flavor and the roasted chicken were good. There was only one person attending in the restaurant who took the orders,brought the dishes to the table,attended the counter bar and acted as cashier.I think it is too many tasks for one person that's why the delay in bringing the orders to the tables.Having one person on a Saturday is not a saving is a risk to lose clients because of the bad service provided. We are Peruvians and chalacos you can check the Peruvian Grill prices and portions of their dishes to compare.You need to improve your service."

"I stopped by a few weeks ago with a friend and we ordered fish ceviche and it was delicious! I'm very hesitant to eat raw fish like sushi (sashimi) and even though ceviche is not raw I'm still hesitant because in my Greek culture we eat everything well done lol. The ceviche was so fresh and the "leche de tigre" was so flavorful and I wasn't even slightly concerned. The lady who served us was also very sweet and gracious and the atmosphere is very beautiful. I will definitely stop in again when I'm in Sarasota! Thank you so much!"
