"You will pay over $10 for 1 order of chicken wings. They chop them into pieces and only give you 2.5 or 3 actual wings. They chop them so they can short the order. Food is extreme over priced for a very small portion. Its not worth it."
"This place has been nothing but great since I've been ordering from them. The food is amazing, me and my family love it. Never had any issues at all, food is great and gets delivered fast. And the delivery people are some of the nicest people you well meet. This place has my business and we'll continue to have it."
"What a disappointment. Ordered Beef Chow Mein and Crab Rangoon. The Beef Chow Mein had no noodles When speaking with the person at the register, they insisted I didn't know what i was talking about and insist there are no noodles in this. Anyone can see from pictures or past eating that there are noodles. The Crab Rangoon had no stuffing, when showing them, they again said I was wrong as you could see a slight coating on the Rangoon itself. Overall terrible food and worse on the service side. This was my first time trying and will be the last. There are many options for Chinese food near me and one would think that you would want to satisfy your customers, not blow them off."
"We've been ordering from China King for a few years now, and seeing as they're one of the few Chinese places in town with in-house delivery, that will probably continue regardless of what I write here. That said, there are some things that they do well, and a few things on which they miss the mark. What China King does well? Service. I have a shellfish allergy, and Chinese is usually a no-go once one has been diagnosed with such an allergy. But I always note on my meal that I have this allergy, and I've not reacted to a single meal yet. They always take reasonable care to avoid cross-contamination, which I sincerely appreciate. The food is consistently good, too, though the gravy that accompanies my husband's egg foo young always smells of cinnamon, which is a rather odd flavor (I'd think...?) for such a dish. He never complains about it, so that's fine with me. Delivery is usually prompt on the nights where they tend to not be as busy (weeknights), but can get a little long on the weekends. That's not a deal-breaker, either. What China King misses? Quantity of food given for the price. There are other places in town whose small (pt) is the same size as China King's large (qt). $10 for two egg foo young pancakes, some flavorless fried rice and an egg roll. Really? A quart-sized beef and broccoli at China King was barely enough for one; the same size at a competitor used to feed both of us, with left overs for the next day. I wouldn't mind so much paying $11 for a quart (yeah, I was floored, too) if they made it worthwhile. And, as I mentioned above, the fried rice is really... well, it's terrible. Not even the cats will touch the pork in it, and Mercy will eat almost anything. It's dry and not much flavor to it at all, like it was made early in the day, and just scooped out of a bin instead of made fresh to order. China King is still our go-to Chinese delivery restaurant, but sometimes I wish others had cheaper, in-house delivery. Door Dash, Grub Hub and Uber Eats are prohibitively expensive to use with other places. Obviously, we like it, because we keep going back. But those are the things I wish they'd fix."
"Ordinarily I have been very forgiving with this restaurant. Their food is normally very very good, and I give it a wonderful recommendation.. however the last four times in a row that I have ordered the general tso's chicken it is obvious that the chicken is older and dried out and hard. I keep saying to myself I'm not going to order it next time, but by the time a week or so goes by I order it again, and once again it is the same old dry overdone chicken. I'm finally posting a review about it because I thought it was just a one-time thing, but it has become the norm and I don't like it. They are wonderful people that run this restaurant, I have met them and they are very nice, but this dish I can't even eat so sadly I have tossed it four times in a row, and yet I'm still dumb enough to continue ordering it hoping that it won't be bad this time. And yet every single time it's bad.. I have called the restaurant about it and they apologize which is nice, but that does me no good for getting my meal.. my wife eats hers as she orders something different, I usually just make a sandwich or two. It is just the two of us, and with tip it is nearly $70.. I am getting extremely disappointed with this restaurant as we order about three times a month."
