"I had what was scheduled to be a one to four hour imaging series done on 12/04 in the Radiology Department of AdventHealth Orlando East Hospital, which ended up being closer to the 4-hour mark, and throughout my extended visit, the radiology staff was professional, thoughtful and understanding! I had multiple encounters with at least four different staff members in the imaging department and every one of them treated me with respect and kindness. Every aspect of my test was thoroughly explained to me, in easy to understand language; I was informed of what to expect at each stage of the test and the technicians and radiologist were calming and reassuring. The staff displayed empathy during the unpleasant parts of the test, and offered helpful tips to help move the process along. Everyone I had contact with showed concern for my comfort and well-being and treated me like a person with value instead of just another patient. Best of all-everyone I encountered had a positive attitude and appeared to be happy and in a good mood, which aided in keeping my spirits high, even though I was hungry, thirsty and the time seemed to be dragging. The only negative I experienced was a mistake with scheduling. Apparently, I was scheduled for a different time & date than I was told, but the issue was immediately rectified, and I was given an appt. only one hour later than I initially expected. I will definitely continue to get any imaging done at this location solely because the employees are top-notch! When you're facing the stress and uncertainty of medical tests, it helps to be surrounded by caring professionals! I highly recommend AdventHealth Orlando East's Radiology Department!!!"
