Hibachi Express(1914 FL-60 E, Valrico)

"This placed used to be so amazing but the last time I went (today) and the last time I’ll ever be there it was awful. The customer service is so awful and they ask for a tip. The person taking orders is so rude and has zero customer service. It was so bad the person after me asked the lady “are you ok?!” We we’re all disgusted at her demeanor. The food is way over cooked. I ordered steak hibachi and got what felt like beef jerkey. Used to love the place… not anymore. Go to a different location if you can."

"I have ordered from hibachi express on several occasions each time the owner is very rude. When you come into the establishment, she doesn’t treat you as if you are a customer she treats you as if you are somebody asking for free food I order meals for myself and my wife and ask for appropriate condiments that comes with the order I’m giving one Yum Yum sauce for two orders and I have to argue with the owner to get a second. Yum Yum sauce to go with the second order after I’ve paid my money while I do enjoy hibachi Xpress his food I do not like the customer service. The owner is very rude and it appears that she may have a problem with Latinos. I truly hope that they change the person who works at the front desk so that I don’t have to be inconvenienced by spending money with someone who doesn’t appreciate my business have anyone else experienced this?"

"I walked in with my kids never having been here. The lady at the counter yelled for me to come to her. She told me that you order at counter and then sit. There wasn't anyone else in the building so we took maybe 2 mins looking at the menu. She stared at us the entire time and kept making annoyed sighs. I ordered paid, she shouted to tip, and we grabbed our drinks and sat down. The edamame was decent, sushi taste was okay but too much sauce on top, only 6 pc instead of typical 8, and the seaweed was VERY chewy. Overall an ok experience but I will never dine in again. There are so many other sushi places within a few miles I'll probably bring my business elsewhere. We get sushi at least once a week"

"Impressive quality & quantity from my steak & chicken noodle order. The cucumber salad with Japanese ginger dressing is simply amazing! Much better than standard take-out Asian restaurants. Clean, fast service at lunchtime."
