"This was my first visit to the restaurant and everything from the food, service and atmosphere were a 10/10! I loved that all of the food was fresh and the staff was extremely pleasant while having a line nearly out of the door an hour before closing. I can’t wait for the next visit!"
"The vibes of this place are off the charts! I found it so randomly, I was just in the neighborhood for a work appointment and searched up cafe on google maps. Inside is so colorful and clean. There was some Chill Caribbean music playing that immediately put me in a better mood. The lady serving the food was very friendly and helpful. I got the curry Chicken with cabbage and plantain and it was amazing. I highly recommend you check this place out."
"The beauty of Tampa blossoms on every corner, with exotic treasures hidden behind the greenery. Mangos Cafe opened their doors to us, welcoming us into a dining room filled with laughter and care. As jokes and banter was slung between guests, our plates were filled to the top with a heaping portion of carribean soul food. Dirty rice, honey fried chicken, smothered chicken, braised oxtail... the amount of choices offered were enough to make you feel like a king. We washed our pallettes with lemonade and rum punch strong enough to wake you up for the day. And though the food left us satisfied, it was the warm embrace from behind the counter that fed our souls"
"I drove 45 minutes just for the food here, & I’m gone do it again! Everybody was so nice and welcoming, the food was soooooo good! Their Caribbean sweet tea is addictive! I got the oxtail, dirty rice, greens, mac n cheese. Everything was so tasty & seasoned to perfection. I saw that they have vegan options on the menu as well!"
"Food: 5/5 Customer Service: 5/5 This was the best Caribbean restaurant I’ve been to since I’ve moved to Tampa in 2014! I got the red snapper fried with stew on top, plantains, macaroni and cheese, coconut rice. Definitely recommend this to anyone. Keep the good work up. Update: came back a second time! I had to run it back and it was even better than the first time! 9/1/23: I came back to try the catfish!!"
