"Very busy restaurant. Which is great. However, I think they could use another server as I only saw two. They have a great breakfast selection including vegetarian options. My meal was very filling. My big dig will be happy to get my leftovers. It was my first time being there. Glad I stopped in. I had the country omelet."

"As a regular at Mamas Kitchen (Clearwater/Seminole), I've been wanting to try Mamas Kitchen (Tampa). Today I got my chance! Claudia and Patricia were super friendly. The food tasted great and looked good, too. I was especially impressed with the English muffins, which were toasted to the perfect crunch with no burning. The vibe is a little different from the other Mamas Kitchen. There's more of a rock-and-roll feel, and the music is at a comfortable level for conversation. It also has bar seating available. Nevertheless, it has that distinctive "welcome home" feel that you'll come back for again and again."

"Came to Mama's because I had a CL Deals coupon for $20. It is a diner style place with American and Greek style foods. The menu is old and not updated. I came for lunch but the things I wanted were discontinued or out of stock. So I swiched to breakfast, an omelet with ham, cheddar and shrooms. A side of grits and rye toast. The omelet was ok but the grits were terrible. However, the greek salad that I got to go, was great and it fed both the wife and I. The place is somewhat run down, the seat cushion springs have sprung and the decor feels a couple decades old. I was happy with the service, very friendly and attentive. This is a guess but I would stick to the greek side of the menu."

"The food was so good and the price was really good for what we got. The breakfast menu alone is huge so there is something for everyone. The glaze they put on the chicken and waffles is AMAZING. We didn’t even need to put syrup on the waffles because it added enough flavor. We are definitely going to come back and try more stuff on the menu."
