"This has to be the best BBQ in clearwater. The ribs are perfectly cooked with a seasonings that you really don't need any sauce. The chicken was amazing it was nice and juicy. This is where their homemade BBQ sauce came in to knock it out of the park. The pulled pork was good as well. The sides tasted okay, the BBQ is what's makes this place special."

"Wow! You have got to try this BBQ joint, best pulled pork for MILES. Sauce was perfect, beans were perfect. The prices are so good that it feels like stealing. They did mention that prices are going up at the first of the year so get in quick and give it a try, you will be hooked. They could double the prices and it would still be a good deal! Bravo, keep it up Poppa's BBQ. I would make the 40 minute drive from home for this any day of the week."

"Very good bbq. I always get the jumbo special for $12. Chopped chicken or pulled pork, comes with 2 ribs and a drink. Can't beat it. They also have sides for an upcharge. Get there earlier than noon or later because the line is always out the door at lunch time. But the staff is very good at getting food out quickly and prepared to order."
