Berlins Doener
About the Business
Berlins Doener, located at 4195 34th Street South in St. Petersburg, Florida, is introducing Germany's favorite street food, The Döner, to the United States. The Döner, originally created by a Turkish immigrant in Berlin in 1972, has become a staple in German cuisine with an estimated 720 million sold annually. This delicious and healthy fast-food option contains all the food groups and only 550 calories.
In addition to The Döner, Berlins Doener also offers a selection of German beers brewed according to the 500-year-old Purity Law. This law, established in 1516 by Bavarian rulers, ensures that German beer is made only from barley, hops, water, and yeast. This commitment to purity means that German beer is all-natural and free from chemicals, preservatives, and artificial additives.

"The food was very good. As a German I am missing some fresh salad as a side to the schnitzels, not a potato salad! Although, the server was very friendly, but we were the only guests at the beginning of the second shift and it took her super long and two reminders to get us a second cheese dip for our pretzel. Lastly, I think it is not guest friendly at all if you change your pricing at the checkout without even letting us know!!!! We paid a little more than $1 on each meal we had ordered than it said on the menu card! Either update your menu cards or stick with your prices!!!!"
"What a great lunch! The pretzel was so good, but the cheese dip they served with it is on another level. It's definitely the best pretzel cheese I've ever tasted. The doener was fresh & delicious, we tried their original sauce & the tziki, both really good. The French fries were some of the best I've ever had, hot, fresh, salty & delicious, served with regular ketchup & homemade. The falafel was delightful as well. Amber, our server, was informative, friendly & accommodating. We split the doener because it's rather large & they cut it in half & served it on 2 different plates without us even asking. We will definitely be back!"
"Walking in I didn’t know what to expect! The atmosphere looked pretty casual and I was worried about the food.. but I was pleasantly surprised, the food was VERY good! I had the bowl with the beef/lamb and my boyfriend had the salad with chicken- both were delicious. Good portions, you can tell the food is fresh. The server was super nice and attentive!"
"Great little German restaurant that was able to seat my entire family (10 of us!). Fantastic draft beer selection. The pretzel with liptauer cheese & mustard was awesome. The kitchen was so accommodating as most of us were craving spaetzle with our dinners, and gladly swapped out the fries/German potato salad (both of which were also tasty). The jagerschnitzel was perfection. Really cool to try cheesy spaetzle for the first time too, great kids dish. Pixie our hostess was amazing!"
