The Big Catch at Salt Creek

"Fish tacos were great! I would however steer away from the black beans and rice. It wasn't seasoned well at all. Stick with the fries they seemed freshly cut in house! It was a great substitute. The service here is great! The waitress we had was super attentive and nice! Seems like a great place for a drink and a good time with friends!"

"My friend i both ordered the Cajun pasta, it came out very quickly but was very cold which was disappointing. We tried to signal the server but it took so long that we just decided to go ahead and eat it. Very tasty food as always, but just a shame that it was cold to the touch."

"We had a large group and had called ahead for a lunch reservation on a Sunday. When we arrived we were told that they had no reservation. They did get us seated relatively quickly regardless. The ambiance of the place was not at all what I was expecting, it was more rustic and all seating is outside with no air conditioning. Luckily it was a nice day while we were there and not too hot, but I couldn’t imagine going there during the summer. They are also right next to a boat storage facility and there was constant loud noises of them moving boats in and out of the water the whole time we were there. The wait staff was accommodating. The menu was pretty limited, especially when it came to sides. The food was good, my wife got the red snapper and I got the grouper."

"I did a Google search for "hole in the wall" seafood, because those those off the beaten path places are usually the best. The Big Catch did NOT disappoint. We ordered a couple of frozen pina coladas and the fried cauliflower for an appetizer. If you have not tried their fried cauliflower, it is an absolute must! I had the Maui tacos and my husband had the shrimp dinner. We talked about this lunch the whole way home. Absolutely wonderful. Shout out to our waitress, Jade. She was delightful."

"Im always looking for new dining spots when out on the water. The reviews seemed decent here, so my friend & I gave it a go. The food was awesome. Really no complaints there. There was only one other table being waited on (it was a Monday) so I thought the food took a little longer than it should have, but not a big deal. We ordered grouper bites and a salad & the bill was around $50…a bit pricey..but I get it, we were on the water. Unfortunately, theres only dock space for two boats at most. The marina right next door is super strict & will not allow you to tie up. Fortunately the dock master was super nice (probably since he saw it was two girls on a boat) & told us he would let us for that day, but not to try on a weekend. If it weren't for the limited dock space, I would definitely return because the atmosphere looked super chill!"
