"My husband and I visited from Boston and were searching for a good Cuban restaurant, and I just wanna say that this spot is the BEST Cuban food I've ever had. We ordered pernil, with the white rice, plantains, empanadas, a Cuban sandwich, a guava cheese pastry, and a Cuban espresso. Even the mango and passion fruit juices were so delicious. You can tell everything is made with love. The pernil was just out of this world, so tender, juicy, and FLAVORFUL!!!! Don't even get me started on the skin... That was crispy AF. the staff were SUPER welcoming and so heart warming to be around in general. I freaking love this place and if I ever get the chance to come back to Florida, this will be the first stop!!! Thank you so much!"
"First spot hit after a long flight to Florida. Absolutely delicious food. The beef empanada with chimichurri was amazing. The pork was super tender and flavorful. The plantains perfection. The portions were perfect and filling. Service was super friendly and very accommodating. Definitely recommend and will be back to eat here again during the stay!"
"I'll start by saying, being Mexican, born and raised in Chicago, I had previously tried Cuban food and in comparison to Mexican I always found it to be bland, in all fairness I understand Mexican food generally has many spices and condiments and is generally saltier. Came in and ordered a Roasted Pork plate and when I took the first bite I started laughing because it was just that delicious! What I enjoy about the food here is it has a ton of flavor without it being solely enhanced with salt! Cuban food just has such a simpler yet unique flavor profile and being someone who always wants everything to taste "spicy" I felt the entrees I had were perfect and didn't want to change a thing! Came back again today and tried the Ropa Vieja and a stuffed fried potatoe ball! Amazing! I live in OKC but am here traveling for work. I don't have a ton of reference to compare to the Cuban food in Miami, but don't feel the need to compare because this is great food. Period! Worth the cost and the staff is friendly!"
"I haven't had Cuban food this delicious and authentic since I left Miami. Definitely the friendliest folks ever! If I lived here, it would be my regular place to eat."
