No it's not like it used to be when we had waiters wait on the customers but I will greet you at the door, I will help you order at the kiosk or take your order at the register, will bring you your food and shakes to your table, also be there to assist you or answer any questions you may have! "Ordered steak burgers with fries. Drove half way home and I began to eat the meal. My fries were hard and cold and when I opened the burger there was a zip tie on the burger a nearly swolled it. I had to drive back and spoke with the cook . He did replace the order but I wasn't pleased and felt there should have been compensated for the service and disappointment I went through. I'm sure I won't visit that establishment again. Due to the carelessness of food preparation."

"The store at 4480 Park st.n. ,located next to Cody's and Target,has been open for 8 weeks now. There are still a few long lines , but let's face it ,thousands of people have been waiting for this location to reopen . So while the demand is at such a high level currently,causing 15-20 minute wait times for getting your food , the employees at this location , have been so very nice ,and have worked very hard to find ways to speed things along . Management has extended warm welcomes to all , and have many years of restaurant experience which has served them well . Please remember, freaking out due to a few extra minutes of wait time, only puts the team members handling your situation,into a position , where if they break the chain of service to direct extra attention to you, it means it will directly affect the wait times of five to seven more families. Let them do their job, if you find it necessary to speak with managers , be considerate of what they are dealing with .Ask for help respectfully,it goes a long way to getting the outcome you desire . Clean restrooms was a welcomed site as well . Hours are 10-a.m. to 10 p.m. 7 days a week."

"Just picked up lunch at this Steak 'n Shake. I was surprised to see kiosks instead of humans for taking orders, but found the process quick and easy. There was an elderly lady next to me placing an order and a gentleman at the fry station came over and helped her. I thought that was very kind. The young man that called up my order was so professional and so handsome! We ordered the chili. It was delicious. Will be back again."
