"Excellent local BBQ restaurant that cooks everything fresh daily. The BBQ brisket sandwich is a half pound of tender well seasoned and smoked meat. The spicy sauce was top notch. The fresh cut French Fries was simply fantastic. The ambience is very inviting offering inside and outside seating. The service was excellent. The prices are moderate but you definitely get a quality meal for a reasonable price."

"A great, casual barbecue restaurant in downtown St. Petersburg. You order at the bar, and the food is brought to you. They have a nice selection of craft beers on tap and cocktails. "The Thing" sandwich is unique. It is pulled pork, gouda cheese, a fried egg, and bacon on an open-faced sandwich with cornbread. We tried the ribs, too, and they were very tender."

"Wandering around Grand Central on a Sunday we decided to check out Urban BBQ. Fun spot for families or groups of friends. There is a shuffle board. The bbq is served similar to Texas style where the meat is on the tray with your corn bread and a side. I had the pulled pork tacos. We also tried the nachos. The food was solid, nothing amazing but fresh and well prepared. You order at the bar inside then find your seat. I didn’t give this type of dining service experience 5 stars because it’s not really service and you have to get up to ask for anything you might need."
