"We were seated right away. Service was good. I order French Dip sandwich. There was a large amount of fat and it was so over cooked pieces of meat and cheese were hard and ot edible. Horrible sandwich. I told server and she offered to exchange for Philly cheese steak sandwich. It took about 20minutes for sandwich to come out but it was a little better. They still charged for sandwich No manager came out. Food was just average Service was good It was good but not going to be at the top of the list next time I go out to eat"
"Some friends of ours recommended to us to give this place a try. We walked in, and it was kind of dive, which didn’t really matter to us as we were fine with that. We were told to sit anywhere we wanted. Our waitress came over quickly, and took our order for an appetizer, which was the poutine. it left a lot to be desired. It was skinny french fries with greasy cheese curds where there was no cheese inside and the gravy was just not flavorful. We also ordered the corn beef Reuben. It came with half a pound of sauerkraut, and a very thin slice of corn beef above and below on a piece of marble rye toast. The corn beef was very tough and hard to chew. This should be renamed a sauerkraut sandwich. Then we had the famous fish fry. This was two tails of a fish of some sort, but had a very fishy flavor to it. The batter was tasty, but the fish was just fishy and very thin. I don’t think we’ll be back and will have another conversation with our friends. The coleslaw was very good. And there was a very small pickle with the corn beef sandwich. That was very good too. #stevensleavin"
"First time at this location. I didn't sit in the much busier section of the restaurant, and opted for the quieter side. We were pretty much by ourselves the whole time. This may have been the issue with the service. It wasn't bad, just not as attentive as it would have been had I sat on the other side I believe. The Appetizer was pretty decent but didn't have any wow factor. The French Dip was pretty good. The Pork Tenderloin was a little too dry and tough, plus on the smaller side."
"Quaint little bistro/pub. Outdoor patio was a great place to wind down and enjoy a meal. The food was tasty. The pork shank with mash potatoes was the so savory and tender. The pork fell right off the bone."
