"Husband made reservations for our anniversary and I had no idea this place even existed! This place is a "hidden gem" and we will definitely be returning. We sat in the "lounge area" at a beautiful table (our preference). Atmosphere was very charming and comfortable, loved the music and the art throughout. Service was great! Thank you to "Chris" (not sure of spelling) who was so kind and brought us to our table, even telling us which table to ask for next time. She was such a delightful person, and very personable. Also wanted to mention "Connor" who was our server and was also very kind and knowledgable. We did not feel rushed at all, which is very important as we like to take our time while out. There is a very extensive wine list, with many great choices. Connor asked what we liked in a wine and had many recommendations and we were very happy with the one we chose. The food was very good, fresh and arrived to our table steaming hot. The veal and ricotta meatballs were absolutely delightful. My husband had the lobster ravioli which were also very good. Prices are very reasonable. There is a wine celler that also has a table in there that you can book for a private party. Connor was more than happy to give us a "quick tour." Thank you to everyone at Alfano's for a wonderful evening! We will definitely be back!"

"A bit upscale, so likely only going here for special occasions, but the food was great. The wine list is fantastic with plenty of selections. I did have to choose 2 as the first selection was out of stock. Our server was really nice, but we could tell he was new to the restaurant as he needed to seek answers from others on more than one occasion. Overall, great Italian restaurant."

"Restaurant trying to be fine dining but food tastes frozen and stale. My husband had Clam Linguini and I had Lobster Ravioli. Both of our seafood was overcooked. My ravioli was also very underfilled, and the sauce tasted like Newman's jarred. We shared a Caesar salad, I ate chunks of raw garlic multiple times. The bread brought to the table was either from yesterday or frozen, as it was rock hard and terribly bland. Service is not great, as other reviews have said. We both went without water for an extended period of time, and I had to ask what the specials were. The restaurant had only been open for 90min, but somehow they were "out of tiramisu." Not sure how that happens at an Italian restaurant. The only good things were a cocktail (smokey old fashioned), and the sachet to appetizer (hard to mess up cheese stuffed pasta). All in all, it feels like they're trying to be fine dining but everything tasted salty, processed and stale, and I find myself chained to the bathroom within thirty minutes of leaving."

"8/19 Visit: my husband and I arrived pretty late, but we were still seated and served. We did not feel rushed. The food was tasty and the server, although not super engaging was very professional. The owner was present and he was very friendly and brought us out a piece of cake on the house. Restaurant was nicely decorated as well. Loved the intimate feeling."
