"Enjoyed going to Jolly Roger on a Wednesday evening without realizing it was Trivia Night. And wow, it was so loud!! Multiple times even the moderator asked people to stop talking so the group could hear the questions. So, of course, it made normal conversation almost impossible. With all that said, the food was great. We had a Blu Cheese Burger and the chicken with a wonderful Jack Daniel’s sauce. We had the onion crisps and the house made chips. All delicious. Even though the place was full, the waitresses were running and did a great job serving. I’d definitely go back for the food, but would check to see what was going on (trivia) before I went."

"A fun place just off the beaten path. Humorous menu of superb selection. Really glad my friends suggested it. I'm a picky eater of buffalo chicken wings and these measure up as first class served with celery and blue cheese. Not to be ignored, try the Capt Mac's meat and cheesy buns. The service from Chris was terrific and we left feeling satisfied and full."

"BEST HOMEMADE FOOD AROUND! I would give over five stars if I could. Patrick at the bar whips up the best drinks with awesome service. The food is noticeably homemade and great quality- with good prices. This is probably one of the best places I’ve been too."

"Vibes of a cool neighbor hangout. The staff was extremely friendly. We sat at a high top, which the stools were a tad uncomfortable, but the atmosphere was fun! Food was typical bar food, but I hear the ribs are fall off the bone great. Wednesday’s are trivia night- starts at 6:30 pm. It's free and you can win Jolly Bucks."

"If I lived here, this would be my neighborhood bar. Seriously-- this place was a fantastic find while on vacation in Tierra Verde. The burgers were fresh and they tasted AMAZING. (I'm from the Midwest so I'm picky about my burgers-- this tasted just like home.) Thick juicy beef, fresh ingredients, and the garlic aoli just pushed it over the top. The beer selection was excellent and the service was fantastic. Not only that but it most definitely didn't break the bank. I was prepared to easily spend TWICE what we did here. There's a great casual vibe that just made me feel at home the minute I walked in. It's safe to say that I'll definitely be back."
