The Licking Orlando

"We went on a Friday afternoon and it wasn't very busy. I was shocked because of all that I had heard about this place. Everyone ordered something different, and none of us were disappointed. The conch and fries were the bomb, and they tasted fresh. I did not expect to get as much as I did, but I definitely took care of that, lol! I tasted the lobster mac n cheese.... SPEECHLESS!! It was amazing! The fried Talapia was delicious as well. I ordered the Mystery drink, which tasted good. The presentation of it threw me off because it didn't look very tasty. I got a chance to try the blue drink, which was the blue lemonade... Now that was a really good drink. Our wait wasn't very long from the time we were seated until the time we got our food out, and it was all fresh. I loved it! It's a must do again."

"I visited this place due to the IG reviews. It’s right near a mall and has ample parking. Our waitress, Jasmyn was a sweetheart. She took her time to explain the menu since we were first-timers. We ordered the wing sampler. It comes with three different wing flavors. The wings are a good size but were fried too hard. We also had the chicken quesadillas and the wing platters. They were large portions and flavorful. The mystery drink was good. We will definitely one back."

"Food was really good. The greens I had were seasoned well but a little salty to me. I really liked that they used turkey instead of pork. The shrimp and grits were slightly salty too. But good flavor. Chicken wings were perfect, Mac and cheese was good as well. Mystery drink was really refreshing."

"This spot is a solid 3.5. The Licking Orlando was like if Hooters and Red Lobster had a kid, while rap artists sang the lullabies. You have to experience it to be believe it. Servers wore booty shorts that said “WTF”…not sure why, in terms of branding, but I guess it goes? But all jokes aside, the food was good! The fish was really flavorful and the shrimp quesadilla as well; both tasted very fresh. Mac and cheese was also solid, but wasn’t as fresh as the rest of the meal, definitely was out sitting for awhile before being served. Our server was attentive and kind. I liked her attitude. I don’t see myself dining-in again as the atmosphere just wasn’t for me but I would definitely order to go. This is definitely a spot you have to be in a specific type of energy to dine-in at. Music was good though! That is if you’re into rap, of course. Good meal with head bops as you chew your food."
