"Quaint little place. Has a buffet style service but be warned, it is NOT an all you can eat. The food is good home style cooking with a variety of meats. A few vegetable choices though limited. A large salad selection and the desserts are made in house and delicious. If you don't have room for your dessert or the whole meal they will do to-go boxes."

"Group of us had lunch at this well known buffet to celebrate Christmas. Our waitress was sick and gave us less than minimal service. Otherwise, we had a great time. Food was good with adequate selection of entrees. However only one serving of meat included in $13 price, 2nd serving of meat was $5 more. As was the desert, beverage, extra soup - also extra. However the serving size was adequate considering the veggies and salad which were not limited. One serving of bread was also served. No one left hungry, some had doggie bags. Decorations were worth the visit. Definitely would return."

"Cook's is a family run restaurant that is clearly a local favorite around the holidays. The menu has simple choices -- pick your drink and dessert -- and the rest is up to you as you walk the food line at the center of the restaurant. The menu amusingly goes out of its way, using bold and underlined fonts, to explain that one may only receive a single portion of meat, almost suggesting this is a contentious issue with some patrons. As for the food, it leaned toward homestyle cooking, with healthy doses of butter on vegetables and wide choices of meats, including fish, turkey, pork, beef roast and lamb, all sliced and served directly onto one's plate by a server. There may be a small wait when you arrive, but there is ample seating in the lobby to wait for your number to be called. The staff could have been a little more attentive with drink refills, but as we were there Christmas Eve, this is likely due to holiday popularity and not indicative of service year round."

"Great deal for the $$. You can’t go anywhere and get fresh food for this price. Great service with a fantastic atmosphere. Endless salad and veggies with 1 serving of meat for $13 and some change. Add 1 dessert & drink you are at $20. My wife and I shared the dessert and I drank H2O. Bill under $50 with tip for two people with fresh food is great in my opinion. Remember only the veggies are endless if you want more meat or to add dessert it is an additional cost which is still fair. Enjoy!!"

"My first time here and the biggest impression is this buffet is not quite like most. The most disappointing thing is the 1 meat entree and surcharge for extra. However, the quality of the food was better than expected. It lacks a bit of variety for me but they have perfected what they have. The ambiance felt like dining in the garden but without the bugs and humidity. I loved it. Our server, Christine' was also amazing and so sweet. Her recommendations were so good on our desserts. That espresso cake with actual coffee beans in it was so good. Definitely worth a visit."
