"What started as an afternoon drive to Bill Fredricks Park ended with stopping for a quick bite at tomato's. From the moment we walked inside we were greeted with a kind and welcoming interaction. My party of 3 ordered 2 lamb gyros and I ordered the Steak and cheese sandwich. The presentation was phenomenal and the taste even better. I can't speak highly enough and look forward to coming back soon. Thank you again, y'all have restored my faith in Mediterranean food in Central Florida!"

"The food was horrible. I decided to put this review up on Google to save others from wasting money. Go to any other place and it will be better. I mean any other place like anywhere. A lot of random restaurants in this tourist area are hit and miss but this one is definitely hard miss. Please don’t waste your time and money and don’t give into the way the pictures on the menu look. I got a beef, Gyro and my wife got spaghetti and meatball. They do not know how to cook spaghetti at all. And it should not even be on the menu, because that spaghetti was worse than Denny’s spaghetti. Actually, The spaghetti at Denny’s is a lot more flavorful and delicious. Lack of seasoning and a good culinary skills or even poor culinary skills. There’s a lack of poor culinary skills. Because I have poor culinary skills, and I can make better spaghetti than that with my eyes closed. The beef in the Gyro was horrible. It was not grilled like normal gyros are it was like soaked in a pan with onions like stew meat except this one had extra extra fat you have to pick out of it. Made the entire Gyro soggy and fell apart. They need to change their menu, or they are going out of business. The only reason why horrible places like this exist is because the tourist don’t know and they make a mistake, but they never come back to eat there again, but they don’t say anything, and just repeats for the next port tourist to fall for this trap."

"We actually ordered Tomatoes because there were such good ratings. We ordered gyros and a chicken sandwich. The gyros tasted like shredded beef and not lamb, they were soggy, no feta, not a typical gyro. We thought the chicken sandwich would be a typical chicken sandwich.. it was a chicken Philly had peppers and marinated chicken on a French roll. Wasn’t what we expected and it wasn’t great. Which was a bummer because of the high ratings."

"Picked this restaurant out using google maps to try something new while visiting the area. Great variety of different foods for everyone. I picked the Wild Salmon with french fries. When I received the order at my table I got a different fish. The fish I received was white and smelly. (A fishy smell like most other fishes.) I have had salmon many times from many different restaurants and they all came to my table pink and without the fishy smell. I pointed this out when they brought another plate to my table. They brought me a box of frozen salmon out for me to see it was salmon. The frozen plastic wrapped salmon was indeed pink but not the one I received. My fish was still hard when i pushed the flat part of my fork down on the fish. The fish did not flake apart like it should have. I also received salad toppings with my fish instead of the french fries I ordered. The inside of the restaurant was or is attractive. They even had tv's playing content that just stopped. I think I might try them again down the road in a year or two when I am in the area again. Hopefully they will have fresh seafood instead of frozen fillets. Does Salmon Turn White when Fully Cooked? Wild-caught salmon should never be white. Yes, salmon can turn white when fully cooked. This is because of a protein called albumin which is released from the fish when heated. Wild-caught salmon should never be white, so if your salmon is not its usual color, there may be an issue with the meat. The most accurate way to ensure doneness is to check the temperature. The albumin will appear as a slimy white goo on the salmon’s surface and is totally safe to eat."

"Wow! talk about fresh cut lamb and hot sauce. Owner was very nice! He said sit down and enjoy and pay after and for that I will come back. Just felt like home. He said the sauce is made fresh and you can definitely tell. I am looking forward to coming back again."
