Reviews of New York Beer Project
"A new go-to spot in the area. The building looks cool and has a great vibe once you get inside. The decor is fine and it has a great atmosphere, especially on a Friday night. The have a great beer selection and every one in my flight was excellent. One of the best Bavarian pretzels I’ve had with tasty dipping sauces. The burger was juicy and flavorful with a nice, tangy BBQ sauce. The Beef on a Weck was some of the best roast beef I’ve had. Definitely stop but come early, it fills up fast."
"1/12/2024 The decor is really nice and the style is beautiful. Our server took good care of us and very friendly. The food, I liked everything I had but at the same time, nothing stood out as a must have again, not sure if that makes sense. I had the rib platter which I thought was a deal at $21 but it only had 4 ribs... Not a great deal, not a bad deal. So, overall it's a cool place to grab a drink and you won't be unhappy with the food. It is pretty far away if you live in the heart of Orlando so I'll probably only get out there when invited but I would go back if the chance presents itself."
"This brewery has quickly risen to the top of my list in Orlando. Their selection of beers is impressive, and I’ve found the majority to be exceptionally tasty. The food menu is also quite extensive and doesn’t disappoint. What really sets this place apart is the incredible atmosphere and the welcoming, attentive staff. It’s definitely a must-visit spot."
"This stop is so cool! I happened upon it when I needed to go into lower Winter Garden, and saw it from the road. The atmosphere is just awesome. It truly reminds me of places back home in Western New York. So much is brewed on sight, and its nice to get some different styles from all the southern brews we've had over the years. Mary was an absolute GEM of a waitress, and showed us some great hospitality. Not picture are the meals as they were so good, we forgot to take pictures beforehand!"
"We started with Seasonal Sangria and Yule Mule. They were both refreshing and not overly sweet. There were 5 of us. One person ordered the Hoboken sandwich with the pesto on the side. She said it was good but she was glad the pesto was on the side. One person got the Harvest Short Ribs. She loved the meat, but didn’t think the mashed sweet potatoes complemented the dish. One person got the Breakfast at Tiffany’s and thought it was very good, but would have ordered the wing sauce on the side. One person ordered a Harvest Panini sandwich and added the cranberry aoli. She said it definitely needed that. I ordered the Wedge Salad and Bowl of Chili. The Wedge was very disappointing- it was half a head of iceberg lettuce and a few tablespoons of bacon. No crumbled Gorgonzola as indicated. The blue cheese dressing was very good. It Needed something! Tomatoes, grilled onions, the crumbles it was supposed to have, anything. It was not something I would recommend. The chili was very good, but not special. We ordered the Salted Caramel Cheesecake. It was not good at all. The cheesecake itself seemed to have been flavored with cinnamon or something that was not very good, and the caramel didn’t really help. If 5 women don’t like a dessert, it isn’t very good!! Our server Sarah was excellent! Overall, the food was good but not great."
