Lake Harris Hideaway

"We have been going here for 15 years, good food, good atmosphere. We went on Friday January 26 at pm nice day, not crowded at all. Was waited on quickly. We brought a couple with us to show how great it is. We orders drinks, 30 minutes later ordered food. First order was lost, reordered at 2pm. Ask to see manager at 230pm no one ever came. Finally got food at 320, food was cold burgers over cooked and all we got was sorry. Really questioning if I want to return."

"We had a great time while there and our server was very attentive considering how crowded it was. Our food came quickly and was truly tasty. The band was very good and interacted with the crowd to enhance the show. The view is Florida at it's best when looking or walking the docks. There is an odd fence setup witch forces you to walk through the bar if you don't want to walk directly in front of the band. The only real negative I would mention is that they have left almost no room to dance and if you are into couples line dancing it's completely impossible since they put fold up tables right in the dance floor."

"THIS IS NOT A HOTEL. This is a really nice, friendly restaurant on Lake Harris. Accessible from the lake in your boat or by car. Live music plays on the weekends. Nice menu that should please most. Burgers, hot dogs, fried bologna sandwiches, shrimp...lots of choices. We had a burger that was very good..shrimp basket and a Pittsburg burger melt(Swiss cheese) the fries were crispy and Cole slaw was tasty. key lime pie came frozen..looked more like cheesecake in appearance but was good. I liked that they brought you 2 drinks(iced teas, coke) at a time. After being on Lake Harris on a warm day it was nice. Plus fans all over. Oh, this is a great place for bikers..nicest people!"

"This is a Bar & Grill on Lake Harris. Great lake views. Kind of a mixed crowd there. Motorcycles, Retirees & Tourists. Food is good enough. They have a pretty good music venue. Always a fun visit and never had a hassle there."
