"My kids loved this BBQ. They are born and raised in NYC which has terrible BBQ. I’m so glad that I was able to bring them here for a more authentic taste. I even got to give their jamaican dad a taste of fried green tomatoes. The sauces were legit and brisket was super soft and seasoned good. Not too fatty."

"First time here and we definitely will be back! We stopped in for lunch 2/20. All of the staff was welcoming. I had the sausage and brisket platter with baked beans, coleslaw and cornbread. Hubby had chicken, sausage, mac n cheese, beans. Everything was delicious and I had enough leftover for another meal. We are Pepsi people - and we LOVED how perfectly calibrated the drinks tasted. I had the best fountain Diet Pepsi in a long time. Would recommend giving them a try if you are looking for a non-chain BBQ restaurant!"

"From the outside it may not be much to look at but that's not the whole story. My wife and I have been going here for a couple of years for lunch and sometimes dinner. She really likes the fried pork chops and I love the brisket. Sweet tea is just like what momma used to make. Definitely a place to try if you're in the area."

"I’ve heard such great things about this place and was so excited to try it. Yes the food is very good but the staff was awful. I ordered 2 pork lunches through door dash and only received one. My options were to wait another hour for DD or go get it myself. I drove over to pick up my missing order. I asked about compensation since I paid a DD delivery fee, tip, my personal gas and the inconvenience of the whole experience. I was told “oh wel. We’re busy and made a mistake.” Ok I get it. I work in a restaurant too. I would absolutely compensate my guest. A gift card for future visits. Or a discount on this order. Nope. I got nothing except attitude and excuses. I gave 2 stars because the food is good although the portions was underwhelming to say the least. but I will not return due to your staff being rude and incompetent."

"Good service. Delicious fried green tomatoes (topped with Parmesan cheese), and fried pickles. My husband ordered the Fried Pork Chops. The chops had gristles. Food was a bit too greasy. Dining room can get loud from the kitchen and bad acoustics."
