Reviews of Deana's Country Kids
"Not a safe place for your kids. The director is not mentally sound. She brought back a teacher that had been reported hitting my kid and others. These are direct words out of her mouth. “I put her on paid leave until I got back from vacation after the first claim was made then removed her when it happened again and multiple teachers witnessed it.” 3 reports were made by 3 separate teachers. She couldn’t trust one of her employees claims she had to wait until multiple people came to her. If you actively have your kids schooled the please be worried if mrs. Michaela is your teacher. This wouldn’t be the first time she brings her back in after letting her go. We have been noticing a slow decline in quality as my wife worked there the past 6 months (1 year of work history at this facility) Ms Dena is loosing care and compassion for her children and seems to now view them as a paycheck she won’t dismiss aggressive kids after they are pulling hair clumps of hair out (bag and sent home with the parent) and leaving bruises on other children within the facility. What made us call it quits is my child having her shoulder and wrist dislocated and Ms.deana wants to blame it on another kid at the facility but I find it would be difficult for 2 year old to use that much force on another 2 year old. There was no explanation of what or how it happened. If this makes any parent feel better her resolution is to go from 4.33333 kids per teacher to 11 kids per teacher so now you have less teachers watching these aggressive kids. This is the direct resolution coming straight from Ms. Deana. (Edit for response) My daughter did dislocate her shoulder within moms care but the difference was we can tell you what happened. In this instance my child was brought to her mother with no clue what happened. This shows no one was watching her with multiple teachers in the room this should have been easily answered yet I got nothing. If people were doing their jobs I would have a reason it happened. As for why we kept her in the facility for a year is because the first 6 months we felt like the facility was properly managed. After that I can’t say the quality stayed the same. I didn’t misquote you at all. You indefinitely didn’t immediately terminate her you said it yourself you were on vacation and let her back into the facility until other employees complained too… when I wanted you to promise my kid wouldn’t be hurt again I was indicating the bruises all over her face. You know as well as I do the shoulder and wrist we’re both swollen and I find it hard to believe nurses elbow in both joints happened out of no where. You have the pictures of the swollen wrist and I have records from the hospital where they had to reset it. This is too many incidences in too short of a time frame. My point is that no one is watching the kids. So anyone who wants there kids to watch themselves this is your spot. I also took time to read you google arrest that you were begging me to read. As the article states someone witnessed the abuse and reported it themselves all you did was press charges. How long did you let this play out before you took action? Did it take another set of eyes to make it a reality? How many complaints were made before a parent was the one to call you out and force your hand. This all can be easily avoided by adding cameras to your facility but that would hold you accountable for the actions that go on at your facility. Again I would donate my time to install these to insure safety of other children. It’s sad that this wasn’t taken seriously it’s sad you think making the room 11 to 1 is the solution when 4.333 to 1 wasn’t working. Maybe train your employees properly and make them do their jobs instead (Edit yet again) I see your reading comprehension is as bad as your as your math skills where in that article does it say I attempted to stab anybody what so ever? This is absolutely me a 18-19 year old with a drug addiction problem. Years ago I was a different person but that doesn’t mean that’s who I am today. I think you need to check yourself."
"Deana’s country kids has been my daughter’s home away from home. She has been going to Deana’s since she was 1 1/2 years old. She is four now and in the VPK program. The learning in the classrooms has been constant. She barely spoke before she started, I noticed her vocabulary growing more and more each day. I never post reviews, but Deana’s country kids is well deserved. My family definitely feels the love from Deana and the teachers. They truly care about our kids. I feel at ease knowing my daughter has a safe place to go to everyday while I am at work."
"My son has been enrolled at Deana’s Country Kids since he was 10 months old. He is now almost 5 years old and preparing to go into kindergarten. He has grown and learned so much while in attendance at Deana’s that I have no worries at all about his readiness for public school. He is reading, writing, and solving math problems at kindergarten and first grade levels. Deana is a hard working and dedicated director who stays involved in every aspect of the student experience. She ensures that the children are safe, happy, and excelling. She always goes the extra mile to provide a fun learning atmosphere. The staff are compassionate, knowledgeable, and really love the kids they’re teaching. My son loves to go to school everyday and that speaks volumes in itself. When you’re at Deana’s, you’re more than just a name and your child is more than just a number, you become part of an incredible family that comes together to support you in hard times and celebrates your child’s successes. I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we have had, and continue to have, at Deana’s. We love it here and you will too."
"My 3 year old attends this daycare, Deana is great and straight forward. My sons teacher is wonderful, and keeps us informed on his daily shenanigans and educational progress. We recently moved to the area and toured other daycares. The education and core values that are provided by Deana and her staff, have been outstanding. We made the correct decision selecting Deana’s Country Kids for our family."
"We absolutely love Deanas Country Kids. Our daughter loves Deanna Jessica and Judy and we are so thankful for all of the amazing family at County Kids . Since our very first day at this day care we have had an amazing experience and our daughter cant wait to play with her friends and teachers each day. We have such a great peace of mind knowing our child is in great hands."
