Pinchers

"Not the best experience. My family and I go there very often and love the experience. But last night wasn’t great. We sat at the bar and our bartender was nice at first. We had to keep asking her for things to the point where we felt like we were bothering her. She barely came by asking how we were doing and how the food was. She was very attentive and very nice to certain customers at the bar and it just made us feel bad. It wasn’t right. I feel like as a bartender/server. You should treat all customers with the same respect."

"My husband is a member of “The Fish and Chips Appreciation Society”. That’s how we ended up at Pinchers. We give the staff 5-stars for being friendly, welcoming, and attentive. But Pinchers uses pollack, a cheap stringy grayish fish, at cod prices. Sadly, inexpensive pollack (the world’s most abundant fish) can never compete with a big, white, flaky piece of cod or haddock. I ordered fried shrimp, which was also a letdown. Pinchers shrimp platter was generous, but the shrimp were medium to small and with little flavor. Pinchers describes itself as specializing in seafood, so we anticipated a good seafood experience. And to be fair, we only sampled two items on the menu. But we found the quality of their fish and shrimp to be less-than - and they were pricey."

"A nice meal. We sat outside on the patio. Enjoyed a happy hour drink special and snacked on appetizers. We had the seasonal crab claws, which were huge. We also had the crab cheese dip. Both were excellent."

"What a treat! The lobster meat came on a roll in large chucks on a homemade roll. The sauce on the side was amazing and homemade. The service was impeccable with a great variety of beers. Owner and manager walking around checking on patrons. 10/10 rec! We will be back!"

"I been there for 5 times and I like the fried calamari there. Price is high but what can you do. Some servers are good but some treat you poorly. They all need to be nice and I mean very nice as customers spend a lot of money there."
